Much More Intense

MELISSA—As a heads up I want to say, we really haven’t seen anything yet. Things will get much more intense, bizarre and shocking in the days and years ahead. We need to realize we are being called out of the grave but the grave does not want to let go! Going from death to life is a spiritual matter; and self-help, reasoning and logic can’t make that happen. Only the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead can make that happen (Rom. 8:11). So, to say it in a different way: things will get much more spiritual in the days and years ahead. We are going to see some stuff. We are going to be involved in some stuff. We need to know WHO we are and that is what this onslaught is teaching us. We are sons and daughters of the King, made in His image to see evil removed from and His Kingdom settled on this earth.    HOLD.

Preparation Against Weapons

KATHY—Preparation Against Weapons —  Some time ago Melissa was awakened at 5:00 am on a Sunday morning with a terrible pain in her thigh.  Something was biting her.  She was already conditioned to panic with a memory root of having been bitten in her sleep before by a brown recluse spider.  Added to that, she had killed a scorpion in her house three weeks earlier.  So conditioned, she jumped up in a frantic search to find her attacker.  Suddenly, however, the Spirit of the Lord said, “Don’t you think I have prepared your body to beat the weapon I saw being formed against you?”  She then remembered the downloads the Holy Spirit had been giving her in recent weeks concerning foods and specific nutrients to take.  Her panic turned to peace as quickly as it had sprung up, and the bite lost its threat. She found the culprit, dead from her slap, and the bite was a tiny dot by midmorning. “Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet.” (Eph.6:13)

Expectancy

atticExpectancy can raise our heads and cause us to look beyond the now.  A whiff of expectancy changes the atmosphere.  The zeal of expectancy searches the horizon of today and stretches toward tomorrow’s.  Actually, expectancy can even draw inspiration by scavenging through yesterday.   The light of expectancy chases away shadows in your attic.  Suddenly, forgotten Potential coughs and breathes again, treasures stand up like dusty “maybes or what if’s.”  The whole landscape dances with the winds of expectancy.
