God Knows How to Position People

We continue to rejoice as more reports come in concerning what the Lord has done by the ministry of His Holy Spirit. We received news from another country TwoPeopleTalkingconcerning a man that I prophesied to several years ago. The prophecy was that he would enter politics and God would use him for the advancement of the Kingdom.  That man was elected governor in that region where we ministered to him. He was put in jail, by the opposition, the day before the election. He was elected while he was in jail! The newspaper had already printed stories about his opponent’s victory and had to reprint the paper.  He has aided local ministries and ministries from the U.S. to do what they would not have been able to do were he not in office. A personal friend of ours is one of the ministers he has helped and our friend ministers to the governor when he is in that area.  God knows how to position people for His purposes. We so appreciate those who have supported us so that we could go and “preach the Kingdom of God to other cities also.” (Lk.4:43)

Victory Over Generational Curses

We are coming out of the defeat of generational curses and setting a victorious PromiseRainbowcourse for our generation and generations to come. We will enter into and possess promises that former generations never embraced.  Our merciful and caring God wants to deliver people from the diseases that their parents had such as heart disease, kidney disease, cancer, blood issues and mental issues as well as others. He wants to deliver people from out of the same rut a parent was in e.g., poverty, stubbornness, temper, anger, dependency on alcohol, drugs or personalities.  “For all of God’s promises find their “yes” of fulfillment in him. And as his “yes” and our “amen” ascend to God, we bring him glory!” (2Cor.1:20, TPT)

Welcome Changes

ManWipeBrow.jpgIf you are battle-weary, I believe the last quarter of this year will bring welcomed changes.  I’m not implying battles will stop suddenly and everybody goes on vacation.  I’m saying many long-term battles will end because you finally win.  “Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around” (MSG, Pro 13:12).  I expect some sudden good breaks in the months to come.  –Kathy Gabler

When Things Stack Up

When things begin to stack up on top of each other and a sense of panic begins stack_brickstrying to creep in, I think many of us either jump into a get-it-solved-by-any-means mode or have fallen back into a can’t-do-anything-about-it-so-why-try mode.  But in spite of the temptation to feel that He, who could do something about all of it immediately, has (“for some reason”) just chosen to add one more thing to our load, we will look expectantly for relief. Relief is on its way.  “Don’t add to my troubles.  Give me some relief!” (Jer.17:17, Msg)

A New Song

MSG_worship_GIC Sept2012“Sing to the Lord a new song” (Ps.96:1). Heb.: “something fresh, a new thing.” It is a song of spontaneity and delight. It may be something that has come to you after having passed thru a difficult time of testing.  You are the only one who can sing that new song to God because you are the only one who truly knows what God means to you. “Sing… with gratitude in your hearts to God” (Col.3:16)

Mourning and Comfort

SadMan.jpeg“Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be drawn into the Lord’s comfort.” (Matt.5:4)  It seems illogical that anyone would not welcome comfort. But comfort requires change and change is not always welcomed. As hard as grief is, change is sometimes harder. But wounds do not heal unless we receive comfort.—Kathy Gabler

What’s Your Method?

HandsPrayingMy wife calls me “the methodist” because she says I have a method for everything. John & Charles Wesley had a method. That’s why people started calling them “Methodists.” Their method? Prayer & Bible reading lead to sanctification. I don’t mind being called a methodist after all.

Call Unto Me

spaceIn a voice of command God said, “Call unto me.” God is not without purpose, not without a plan; but there are times when He has been without someone to stand in the gap calling upon Him to move power and authority from heaven into earth. (Eze.22:30) Calling unto God in alignment with His plan and purpose brings restoration (Jer.33:6-14)

Going Back is not an Alternative

HikingWalkStickPharaoh said, “They are entangled in the wilderness.”(Ex14:3) Entangled means “involved”. It would appear that, in the present, they were so worried about rocks, brush and varmints that they forgot about the freedom on the other side of wilderness. “Coming out” may look different and require different decisions and actions than we originally predicted. But going back is not an alternative.

Get an Adjective Change

HelloNameTag.jpgWhat adjective do people put in front of your name? After heaven invaded JerichoRoad, they could no longer call Bartimaeus “blind” because Bartimaeus pushed beyond what was normally acceptable & defied religious limitations & barriers. Heaven is invading your road. Cry out! Get an adjective change. ”When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus from Nazareth was near, he began to shout out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” (Mk.10:47, TLB)

Above All we Think

HandCheekThinking

All things are possible with God. The sticky part about that is, we believe the things that are possible are the things we can conceive. But ALL things are possible with God whether they are those we can imagine or those beyond our realm of knowledge and experience. Eph.3:20 “above all we ask or think”

Subtle Things Changing Things

Subtle things in the Bible that no one noticed until they were put in place and Tiny flame.jpegactivated by the timing and purpose of Yahweh: (1) One Hebrew in Pharaoh’s prison (Joseph); (2) 300 men on a hillside outside a Midianite camp (Gideon); (3) 14 yr. old with a slingshot (David); (4) A baby born in an obscure stable (Jesus); (5) 12 nonsdescript men sitting at the feet of Jesus (ragtag, imperfect group of disciples); (6) A little boy’s lunch (feeding of 5,000); (7) 120 people having a prayer meeting in an upper room (believer-empowering, city-rocking move of Holy Spirit). Result: History Changed! Conclusion: Don’t give up!

So They Might Arise

As the people of God assemble today may they praise from their hearts, give from ManPraiseSunrisetheir obedience and hear from true Biblical understanding so that they might arise with God’s power to meet the needs of the hurting and oppressed.  “I’m sending you off to open the eyes of the outsiders so they can see the difference between dark and light, and choose light, see the difference between Satan and God, and choose God. I’m sending you off to present my offer of sins forgiven, and a place in the family, inviting them into the company of those who begin real living by believing in me.” (Acts 28:17-18, Msg)

Wilderness Experience-Wilderness Heart

WildernessLeaving

It’s OK to take a wilderness experience into the promised land but it’s not OK to take a wilderness heart into promise. (Just ask Achan; Judges Chapter 7.) What we don’t leave in the wilderness, trips us up in the promise. What we don’t get over today, overcomes us tomorrow!

Yesterday Today and Forever

God is the same yesterday, today and forever. We tend to draw a straight line and FatherArmAroundSon1point at the left as yesterday, the middle as today and the right side as forever. Rather, draw a circle as representing yesterday, today and forever. He is never-ending and we are the ones He is covering inside that circle with His never-failing, never-changing character. You are surrounded by His love, presence and wisdom!  ”You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. With your hand of love upon my life, you impart a blessing to me. (Ps.139:5, TPT)

Stay Still and Stay Thankful

After a time of wrestling with unanswered prayer that hadn’t seen the slightest possibility of being answered and after asking the Lord for wisdom and counsel rowing in stormbefore my attitude got way out of line, the Lord spoke to me, “Stay still and stay thankful”. Those are very clear instructions. Immediately I began to think about stillness and thankfulness and Jn.14:1 “Don’t let your heart be troubled”, came to mind. Having studied it I knew it meant “don’t let your heart be agitated or tossed to and fro or perplexed with doubt” and all that is the opposite of being still. Unanswered prayers don’t get to determine the mood for the day. When the man arrived from Jairus’ house and told him not to trouble the Teacher any more because his daughter was dead, Jesus heard the man and said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid! Just trust me, and she’ll be all right.” (Lk.8:50, TLB) Trust is the place where you don’t live by what you see or by what you hear; trust is the place where you stand on the Lord’s steady faithfulness, His unshakeable goodness, His undistracted awareness of what you need, of your prayers and when and how it will be best to answer them. —Kathy Gabler

Prophetic Lifestyle

(Excerpt from Melissa’s message at DVP2019)—I’m going to address the Prophetic Look at distanceLifestyle.  Let me start by saying this is a lifestyle for all of us to live not just those called to be a Prophet. This is my definition of the Prophetic Lifestyle: It Is LIVING BY THE SPIRIT and sensing, hearing and seeing God’s intention about the here and now, and what is to come. It’s also about carrying that God-intention to its manifestation AND letting that intention do its work in us.

Built to Anticipate

Each of us already has a pretty full plate of anticipation about the coming year. We Excited Child.pngare built to anticipate. If we are honest, I believe we will admit that we are continually anticipating what is ahead whether we are anticipating good or bad, productive or nonproductive, desired or undesirable. Right in the middle of it all it would be quite helpful to us if we considered that it is quite difficult to anticipate the provision or intervention of God if we are not looking to God and His Word. Ps.145:15 (NKJV) “The eyes of all look expectantly to You…”  (NET)  “Everything looks to you in ANTICIPATION…” (Excerpt from Marty’s message at DVP2019)

Encouraging One Another

people talking2As the people of God assemble today, may they report to one another and encourage one another with dreams, visions and prophetic confirmations that inspire each one to move forward in faith and hope to the horizons Almighty God has as He manifests His sons/daughters as salve and solution to the groaning of creation.  (1Thess.5:11, NKJV) ”Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.”

Transition Into New Norms

BreakthroughwallI have sensed for several months that the Body of Christ is in an important time of transition into new norms.  One of the new norms I believe we can expect is strategic dreams that equip us for the purposes of God.  I consider strategic dreams to be those timely telegrams that confirm direction or give instruction or release insight and understanding for a mandate and call to action.—Kathy Gabler    (Kathy will be speaking at the DREAMS VISIONS PROPHECY CONFERENCE 2019  today, Sept.14 at 10:30am)

Dreams and Un-carnal Weapons

A victory won with un-carnal weapons that were received in dreams and visions: My niece dreamed recently that she was in her kitchen sauteeing some onions.  Her dad, who had passed away the previous year, stood in the doorway of her kitchen.  firebucketwaterScrunching his nose at the strong odor he asked her, “What is that smell?”  She answered that it was just onions frying.  He shook his head and said, “No, that smells like gas.”  As soon as he said the word “gas,” she awoke and sat up in bed.  Immediately she smelled the gas.  Running to the kitchen she found a burner which had not been completely shut off.  The gas fumes had slowly been filling the house since supper earlier that evening.

Her Heavenly Father sent special forces to her rescue.  Like a Navy Seal Special Ops, the dream was a timely intervention behind the scenes to stop an explosive attack before it reached success.  Who but God could dispatch the exact messenger who would represent the authority and particular skills needed to bring her to a wake up call? The messenger was in her earthly father’s likeness not only to represent trustworthy and sound counsel, but her earthly father had also been a fire chief for years!

Angels on assignment can definitely be un-carnal weapons discharged in our behalf.  Many people have had similar dreams and experiences and I’m sure some have experienced angelic intervention without realizing it.  I believe we can expect even more reports of God sending angels from His arsenal to intervene in the affairs of men in days ahead.—Kathy Gabler

Anticipating Something

The coming generation will anticipate something. Who will give them something to AnticipationLookUpanticipate? Will they anticipate hopelessness or the possibilities of the God of the Bible? One of the biggest favors we can do the coming generation is to build anticipation into them, anticipation for the intervention of God, anticipation to see God do something no previous generation has ever seen. Every time people speak of tragedy and hopelessness, let us say to the coming generation, “BUT GOD….”. Let’s help them keep their anticipator alive and well and functioning at peak capacity. Let’s charge it up at every opportunity! (Marty will be speaking and prophesying at Dreams Visions Prophecy 2019 which is Sept.13-15. No Fee.)
