The Lord Supply To Distribute

May the Lord supply you with gifts and money to distribute Christmas
gifts to be a blessing and a representation of His care and generosity.
May the people you give them to be touched by our Lord’s love and
compassion and may they respond to His love in a deeper manner
than they ever have.
“Do not forget or neglect to do kindness and good, to be generous
and distribute and contribute…” (Heb.13:16a, Amp)

Born To You This Day
Jesus was born on a REAL DAY in REAL HISTORY (“For there is BORN TO YOU THIS DAY” ) and is relevant to man’s needs and man’s cries today in the real world. He was born as The Answer and no one else and nothing else will meet the need within us nor will anything else fulfill us. He was “born to” us to be our “all in all” (Eph 1:23) and the world around us will benefit.
“Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 FOR THERE IS BORN TO YOU THIS DAY in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” (Lk.2:10-11, NKJV)

Christmas And/Or Thanksgiving
When speaking of the birth of Jesus, it is interesting to note the particular terms Prophet Isaiah uses in Chapter 9. Jesus is referred to by two different terms. (1) “For a CHILD will be born to us” speaks of our LORD coming to live among men as Emmanuel-God with us. (2) But it is important for us to realize the impact of the second term used: “a SON will be given to us.” This is reference to the fact that God, the Father, is giving His greatest gift to mankind, HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON as the One who would grow “in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man” (Lk.2:52) and become our Redeemer. WE have been given, through the Christmas Advent, the Gift of Life which is not a thing, but God’s SON. It may be that Christmas is more truly Thanksgiving Day than the holiday in November. Blessed be the Name of the LORD!
“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given;” (Isa.9:6, NKJV)

Extraordinary Events Of Christmas
The Christmas events were extraordinary. Angels were active and interactive with the characters in the event. Persons of high rank got personally involved at great expense. Individuals of lowly birth and lowly means played as important a role as those of higher caste. Divine intervention and protection and wisdom kept the characters in pace and in place. Signs and wonders served to help the characters get into position at just the right time to be supply for Mary and Joseph and the Little One they were privileged to raise up for the saving of a nation.
Let us do far more than delight in the extraordinary events of the Christmas Advent. Let us consider them as that which was initiated to become the ordinary, all year long, for those who would embrace this Extraordinary One born in such an extraordinary way.
“And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, just as it had been told them.” (Lk 2:20, Amp)

God’s Will And Timing
Expectancy can develop out of a seed in the soul (experience, logic, desire, opinion, etc), but it can also arise out of God’s good plans. When that is the case, God’s intent exceeds logic and desire and anything experience expects. History proves there is no guarantee that an expectation forged out of desperation or emotion or panic will come to pass, but a holy expectation coming up out of our spirit in agreement with God’s will and timing, will bring a God-forged EXPECTANCY and His expected outcome (Jer. 29:11).

Why not a LIFESTYLE of THANKSGIVING?
Why not a LIFESTYLE of THANKSGIVING? This Thanksgiving, may our hearts and minds be so turned to awareness of our Lord and to the giving of thanks to our Lord, that if He were to send in among us “angels unawares” (Heb.13:2), they would witness people who know the righteous God that they know, in the way that they know Him and
honor Him. May such messenger/observers witness our living out our thanks rather than vocalizing it occasionally.
4 neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, BUT RATHER GIVING OF THANKS…
6 Let no one deceive you with empty words…
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord…
10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness…
15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,
19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,
20 GIVING THANKS ALWAYS for all things to God the Father in the name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST… (EPH.5:4-20, NKJV)

The Holy Spirit Will Come Upon You
The Holy Spirit Will Come Upon You
The angel Gabriel who shows up on earth about every 2,000 years appeared to a teenager named Mary and told her that, against all odds (Lk 1:26-33) she would fully, miraculously walk out the purposes of God in her generation. Totally stunned at the prospect of it actually happening through such a person as she, Mary asked the angel, “How shall this be?” I think it is obvious that Gabriel’s response to Mary’s incredulity was, “Mary, don’t forget to factor in the Holy Spirit.” viz., “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you…”
Just like in Gen 1:2, the nonproductivity of Mary’s womb took on the order of heaven brought to her by the Spirit of God. And this is what brought that order, that conceiving of heaven into earth to contradict the chaos of darkenss: “And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.” (Lk1:38) Let us make ourselves as readily available as Mary did and the Holy Spirit will bring the fulfillment of the Word through us too, and we will walk out the purposes of God in our generation.
