No matter what catastrophe is making headlines, we are already obligated to the purposes of Almighty God. We have already made a decision for the God of heaven. Bad things that happen may make it a bit more difficult to get certain things done and may knock wind out of us but they must not become insurmountable walls; they must only be obstacles which we overcome to fulfill purpose. (Gen 1:28a) “And God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule…” Considering the 
definitions of God’s original (and unchanged) intention (“subdue” and “rule”), it would appear that we have a mission laid out before us with authority to get it done. Scripture offers the understanding that the Last Adam has won back all that the first Adam forfeited. It would appear that God actually is not responsible for evil happenings since He handed over the earth to Adam to “subjugate,” “prevail against,” “reign,” “tread down” and “keep under”.
