May Father’s Hope Abound Above all Else

MARTY GABLER–Prayer & Declare #14—Today I am asking, Father, for your hope to abound beyond all that comes to my ears and all that I see with my eyes. May your hope and peace enable me to align my thoughts with your unfailing Word so I might rise above all those things.
I declare that as hopelessness and despair attempt to take a high place in my thoughts that your blessed assurance will outpace those distracting considerations.  I will believe the report of the Lord.  Phil.4:8, Amp “For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].”

Hidden With Christ

CaveHidden.jpegAs the people of God assemble today in various ways, may they rediscover that they have the security of a life that is hidden with Christ in God. May they stand with blessed assurance in the peace of Jesus Christ that cannot be disturbed. “For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.” (Col.3:3, Amp)

Blessed Assurance Undergirding Us

BridgeGirdersOn top of outright trying of our commitment is added the machinations of that “roaring lion” (1Pe 5:8). He seeks to devour us and, at all costs, stop us and leave us choking short of the goal. But we have more than a coach or cheerleader working in our behalf and a blessed assurance undergirding us knowing that Jesus is for us. No matter what presses against us and no matter how determined the opposition is, our Lord is going before us in resurrection victory and in intercession: “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded {permission} to sift you like wheat; 32 BUT I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers” (Lk 22:31-32, NAS).
