I Have Cast all my Care
Marty Gabler—This is the day the Lord has made so…
I will rejoice and be glad because I have cast all my care upon my Lord and He is watchful and caring about me. “Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.” (1Pe.5:7, Amp) May the Lord remove today what does not belong and place in your path that which is needful as He caringly watches your footsteps throughout the day. martygabler.com

Cast Your Care on Him
Counsel For Living #6— When looking at a Source beyond ourselves, anxiety has a sneaky way of implying distrust and implying that we might do better for ourselves out of our own efforts. But Peter counsels us to cast all our concerns on all-powerful and wise God. As the original language suggests, may we take even the cause of the concern to the Lord and leave it there. The very words of Jesus show us in Jn.10:14 that HE is the Good Shepherd Who stands in defense of the flock and that He is nothing like the abandoning shepherd of v.13. May we give ourselves to Him unreservedly trusting His watchful care.
“Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.” (1Pe.5:7, Amp)
