Jahweh is raising up His church in this new era. He is raising up His church to transform nations over night. We are getting past religious ineffectiveness and a defeated sense of eschatology and coming to Zion, to the place of the 
throne of God which is a place of power and dominion. Perhaps we should rehearse John’s exhortation to us that “…as He [JESUS] is, so are we in this world.” (1Jn.4:17) It would then follow that our Lord JESUS IS sitting on the right hand of the throne of Almighty God in the heavenly places (1:20) and that we, like Him, are also sitting with Him [authoritatively positioned] in heavenly places in Christ (2:6). Therefore, there should be authority, power and dominion displayed such as it was when JESUS was on the earth, especially since it is the determined will of God to now show His multi-layered, redemptive wisdom to powers and principalities through the church (Eph.3:10).
