God Still Can
As the people of God assemble today, may they realize and be encouraged that what God Almighty did in the Bible He still can and will do today. “Our God and King, You have ruled since ancient time; You have won victories everywhere on this earth.” (Ps.74:12, CEV)

The Lion, The Bear, The Giant And The King
The Lion, The Bear, The Giant And The King—The LION could not prosper against David
because David kept God in the supreme position in his life, in his thoughts, in his consideration. David had to put his harp down and sing his praises out of breath while running toward the lion to do battle with the lion. The BEAR could not prosper against David because of the supremacy of God in David’s life. The GIANT could not prosper against David even though he came against David with the deadliest of weapons. KING Saul could not prosper against David even though he had supreme authority in the land. God’s supremacy was far greater than Saul and his army. “Yet God is my king from of old, Who works deeds of deliverance in the midst of the earth.” (Ps.74:12, NASB)

God’s Supremacy Working
In the Bible the LION could not prosper against David because David kept God in the supreme position in his life, in his thoughts, and in his consideration. The BEAR could not prosper against David because of the supremacy of God in David’s life. The GIANT could not prosper against David even though he came against David with the deadliest of weapons. KING Saul could not prosper against David even though he was conniving and had supreme authority in the land. God’s supremacy was far greater than all of them. (Ps.74:12, NASB) “Yet God is my king from of old, Who works deeds of deliverance in the midst of the earth.” We are praying that no matter what the opposition, you discover daily God’s supremacy working in you and in your behalf.

Same Yesterday, Today And Forever
There are experiences and Kingdom participation that offer themselves in day-to-day living. When my grandfather was a nine year old boy, a
large farm wagon full of rocks ran over his leg between his knee and hip. The big wheel crushed the leg bone the width of the wheel. There was no doctor available. That old Methodist family laid him on his bed, washed him and all nine brothers and sisters and both parents stood around his bed and prayed for him. The next morning when his sisters woke up they could not believe their ears for they heard him in the yard yelling and chasing his brother. There is nothing in the Bible that says God can’t or won’t do anything like that today. He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb.13:8). Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures throughout all generations. (Ps.145:13) Our God and King, you have ruled since ancient times; you have won victories everywhere on this earth. (Ps.74:12, CEV) Only a denying or a divorcing of a Kingdom mentality can remove us from the display of the wisdom of God Almighty. Atoms, molecules and cells respond to the voice of God in an instant and cooperate with His purposes in the moment and in time to come (2K.13:21). The tangible and the intangible both respond to the authority of God (Matt.8:16; 10:8; 12:28; Mk.3:15; 4:39; 5:15; Jn.9:32).
