The “you” in “you shall chase your enemies” (Lev.26:7) is a plural you. Watch how Jehovah’s plan for unity and agreement works. While v.8 says that five of you shall chase 100, it shows the unpredictable increase of 100 putting 10,000 to flight. This scripture shows us the principle that the supernatural kicks in and increases as unity increases. The enemy simply cannot predict that kind of outcome. When unity increases, you throw off the devil’s strategy; what he developed doesn’t work any more. Now, maybe we can see why he doesn’t want us having the same mind, moving in the same direction with the same heart. “And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.” (Lev.26:7-8)
When we are willing to be moved where God deems best and when we are willing to be modified even though it means we must change our mind about some inaccurate views we were formerly willing to die for, then the promise begins to come into place. It is then that the position of the promise changes from potential to actualization (cf.Lev.26:3-13; Deut.28:1-14;Rom. 12:1-2;Js.1:3-4,12;4:7-10;Phil.1:6).
