Faithful to His Promises

Our Holy Father is faithful to His promises. What is a promise anyway? It is something that began in the heart of a compassionate God. It is not something that He has to give us (cf.1Co. 2:12). The promises of God are what it is His desire to give us (cf.2Co. 1:20;Heb.6:17). Yet it is not like putting money in a vending machine, pushing a button and the drink we selected simply falls out into our hand. A “promise of God” is something that begins in His heart and is worked out in us through circumstances (cf.Phil.1:6), people (cf.Gen.45:7-8) AND TIME (cf.Heb.11:8-11).
