Do you feel like your neck muscles are so stiff that you can barely turn your head? Have people and circumstances got your chest so tight you can hardly get a breath? A Puzzle no One Can Figure Out

Jer 17:9, says the heart is a puzzle no one can figure out, but some of those puzzle pieces can show up in our dreams. Memories you have never remembered before can suddenly be a dream video, and that can be the puzzle piece that solves a troubling in your heart-thinking. Our heart-thinking is crucial because it affects all our life and all our relationships, Pro 23:7, “For as he thinks within himself, so he is.” Therefore, self-to-self dreams are very important because the scripts of those dreams reveal what is affecting or influencing our thoughts and emotions and senses and moods and attitudes. Again, it is key to remember that in these dreams it is not God doing the talking, but us. (Sixth excerpt from Kathy’s article “Considering Dreams and Visions”.)

Everything From Atom to Archangel

As the people of God assemble today, may they be aware and encourage one another and embrace the fact that God-of-the-Angel-Armies is acting in accordance with His plans and purposes and He is on His throne of authority and power and He is bringing His agenda forward while He enables His people to speak and act to His glory. “God-of-the-Angel-Armies, who is like you, powerful and faithful from every angle? You put the arrogant ocean in its place and calm its waves when they turn unruly. You gave that old hag Egypt the back of your hand, you brushed off your enemies with a flick of your wrist. Things That may Never Come to Pass

So often we needlessly worry about things that will never come to pass. We then begin to regulate our lives according to those perceived possibilities. Like the disciples, when water is coming over the side of the boat, we tend to forget Jesus is in the boat with us. No matter where the boat goes or what assails it, Jesus is going to be assailed as well. We also tend to forget what He has already promised: Let us go over to the other side (Mk.4:35).

Dreams and Thought-Clutter

Self-to-Self dreams can clean house by flashing scenes from our life into dreams so we can gather and toss “thought-clutter” and have a clean start the next day. Scientists and doctors have proven these kind of dreams are a nightly reset that de-clutters the mind and de-stresses the mind. Since stress is the starting point for many, if not most health issues, the ability to dream self-to-self is healthy. The Hebrew word for dream is chalam (khay lem), which means to strengthen or restore to health or facilitate recovery. Any way you look at it, dreaming is a blessing from the Lord. Even nightmares or upsetting dreams or bizarro dreams can be a positive because they bring things stored in our core closet out to the living room where we can be aware of them and we can confront them for relief or resolve. Pulled by the Gravity of God’s Purposes

From the moment that we were conceived in the womb, God began to draw us to the fulfillment of the destiny He had in mind for each of us. Our sovereign God puts within His purpose for us a certain “gravity pull” which causes all things to work together to get us to the fulfillment of that purpose. God will get us to purpose and to a satisfying sense of fulfillment if we do not allow strong “gravity pull” from opposing and distracting forces to divert us. (Rom.8:28) “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” We are praying you discover daily that you are yielding to Father God as He draws you to His best for you. To Help Bring Clarity in a Dream

When considering a dream, knowing whether a dream is from God or not may help bring clarity. Sometimes we figure out in hindsight that a dream was from God, but it is still a valuable insight for future reference. If a dream is from God, it is a God-to-Man communication, revelation, realization or confirmation coming down to us. If a dream is a self-to-self communication it is coming up from our heart or core to get information and conditions up into our mind-awareness. To Come Forth as a King

There was one grandson Athaliah did not kill. Jehoshaba saw what was coming down and hid Josia in the temple of God (2K 11:2). May God raise up many Jehoshabas in this hour with courage to protect what Athaliah wants to prevent. Josia was hidden in the temple for six years. Six is the number of man. He did not become king until the marks of man upon him had been exposed to the presence of God and the teaching of God’s word. There are some who might think it strange to keep a child hidden away in the house of God for six years. Some might think that he would be a weirdo because he had not been out in the world “living a normal life.” But when he came forth, he came forth as king.

Prayerfully Searching Dream Meaning

The Holy Spirit sometimes gives you a word of wisdom which reveals a dream’s message. However, it is just as fulfilling to get to the message, meaning and purpose through the process of prayerfully searching them out. We can sit at the Lord’s feet and lean against His knee and ponder the pieces of a dream. Sometimes we don’t even have to completely dismantle the dream to get the gist of it, but it if it does require more effort, then we research the Bible and reference books and friends until the concepts connect and open our understanding. God created dreams and visions to communicate and He will certainly help us get to understanding. (Third excerpt from Kathy’s article “Considering Dreams and Visions”.)
