MELISSA—Back to my visit with Sir Winston. He told me, “The victory is at hand” and “The rebuild will be supernatural.” These statements came from a witness of the great cloud. He was telling me that what you see is not what will be. This was an exhortation straight from the King released through a known tenacious fighter. This has been ringing over and over in my head and I have to stand on it. No matter what it looks like right now or even in the coming days, the victory is at hand and this mess will be overturned supernaturally! We don’t have to figure out the rebuild. There are already plans in motion and we should expect to be working side by side with the supernatural in the days ahead. The victory and the rebuild are assured, but when these things happen in the midst of awakening we best be ready for the extraordinary to unfold around us, in us and through us. My descriptions of what is coming may seem a bit vague but that’s because I haven’t seen the details of what this supernatural rebuild looks like. I just know all the way down to my toenails that this is going to be huge, amazing, beautiful and breathtaking!
(Melissa will be one of the worship leaders at the FMCI Fall Conference in Frisco,TX Oct.24-26. All info for the conference may be found at fmci org.)

Sophisticated Monsters
KATHY–While working for his father and helping to support his family, David faced the intimidating, mouthy, monstrous Goliath in his day. Today we are facing a more sophisticated monster with many mouths. Nevertheless, like Goliath, this monster has stood on the battlefield, arrayed in armor that implied its own success and presumed to set the parameters for battle. A giant’s voice launched an attack on the ear, the mind and the heart of the hearers (as has the voice of the monster’s fake media). The voice appealed to reason and logic, to narrow everyone’s thinking down to a dark, one-sided agenda. For 40 days, twice daily, Goliath challenged Israel to be “reasonable” and believe that he had thought things out and was offering the best scenario for all concerned. Are we talking giants, monsters or politicians or all of the above? (Did I mention bullies lie?) Daily the giant and monster were convincing them that the outcome was a given so they might as well just suck it up, get it over with and walk into slavery, (with the least bloodshed possible, especially on their side). Bullies will threaten and intimidate with brute strength or accusation or blackmail or logic or sentiment or an edge of superiority (in knowledge, intellect, reason, information, experience, wealth, age, etc.). An experienced bully can even swing to the other end of the spectrum and use his own neediness or weaknesses or lack of self-worth to manipulate people and events. In fact, a cunning bully can make a weapon of most anything. For example, he can condemn someone into action by manipulating their “sense of responsibility”. Then he can twist his own “sense of responsibility” to justify his brutal or selfish behavior. The bottom line is that an established bully intends to be king of the mountain . . . at any cost.

The Intriguing Samson
When studying the intriguing story of Samson, we must look closer to get the truth of Samson’s “call to the Lord” in Jud.16:28. Basically, the word “called” means “cry out;” “utter loud sound.” But Strong says that it is the idea of “accosting a person met”. Others have said that it is the idea of encounter. Accost means “to approach and speak to often in a challenging and aggressive way.” Encounter can mean “to engage in conflict with; a sudden often violent clash.” When you accost a person that you meet as you are going along, you might tend to grab hold of them to make sure you have their attention. You could possibly even shake them a bit or go so far as to wrestle about with them if necessary in order to get their attention or get your point across. With all of this evidence it appears that Samson’s agreement with grinding ceased and desisted and he sought out the face of God with much vigor and determination, ready for a resurrection experience. It was no slight moment-of-inspiration speech or action. It was desire, nay, desperation in action! Samson began to call upon God to finish what he had started in him — no halfway job, no stone left unturned, not even a reasonable facsimile thereof but the full promise fulfilled.

Knowing Times
MELISSA—A friend of mine dreamed this year that her Pastor walked up to her and said, “Acts 1:7” – It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. Well, hello! It’s not for us to understand every move He is making. It is our job to stand and believe He is, in fact, making the moves He said He would make. Are the prophets wrong or can we admit that we don’t understand because we are walking into an unprecedented awakening?

BULLIED by GIANTS
KATHY—Goliath played “King of the Mountain” in the valley! As big as he was, his greatest strength lay not in his muscles but in his schemes, (sounds like a present-day, ongoing face-off if you ask me.) He was a giant in stature yet an even bigger bully in character. His essential nature was that of a bully with the goal of control through manipulation. He basically walked out on the battlefield and manipulated an entire army into a stand-off! The shock and awe of a giant yelling the rules of engagement paralyzed the troops. The audacity of such unfair odds like one giant to one average sized soldier was never negotiated and never will be with an unscrupulous enemy. We have to wonder why King Saul did not send a platoon to rush the giant and change the rules of engagement (but time will tell). Instead, a nation’s army was arrayed for battle yet one bully used his manipulative mouth (and minions in media and machines) and convinced them the outcome would be the same whether they fought or not. (Don’t ever expect bullies to tell the truth.) An experienced bully will exert as little effort as it takes to be successful, and sometimes the mouth is a big enough weapon. Goliath bullied an entire nation with the power of his tongue. Has the enemy raised up a bully to steal your destiny? Gather up his EITHER’s and OR’s and shove them into a good hiding place, out of view, so you can get a clear view of God’s instructions.

Restoring Strength and Hope
As the people of God assemble today may they find strength in the areas where they have lost strength. May they find hope in the areas where they have lost hope. And may the return, replenishing and restoring of their hope and strength show obviously and may they shine like the noonday sun.
Lam.3:21-24,GNT–“Yet hope returns when I remember this one thing: 22 The Lord’s unfailing love and mercy still continue, 23 Fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise. 24 The Lord is all I have, and so in him I put my hope.“

Something Resembling the Power of Resurrection
Martin P Gabler–When we find Samson slumping at the grinding mill we find a man who has given in to defeats and who has succumbed to degrading treatment and an aching heart. By the time we get to Jud.16:22 the record would indicate that he has begun to think about past victories. Something is going on because the Bible says that his hair began to grow again. Something resembling the power of resurrection is beginning to have an effect in him. We have something going on inside the man that is being evidenced on the outside. Dr. Jamieson puts it this way: “His hair grew together with his repentance, and his strength with his hair”. Matthew Henry offers: “The return of his hair was not the source of his strength. The return of his hair was the sign of his return to his purpose. His return to his Nazariteship was signified by his extraordinary hair growth”. With repentance comes strength.

Did They Get it all Wrong?
MELISSA—In the last post I shared an encounter I had with Sir Winston Churchill and scenes and statements he made keep playing on repeat in my head. In one scene in particular He and I were walking into the core of this nation and the land was scorched and completely devastated by this current war we are in. The cocktail of fearmongering, extreme indoctrination, lies, corruption, evil and depravity has created a mess of this nation.
I’ll get back to the Winston Churchill encounter but I have to ask, how did we get in such a mixed up mess? How is this administration in office? Did we not pray and fast enough? What happened with the prophets? Did they just get it all wrong?
Let’s answer a question with a question. Did the prophets miss it or did they step into the future and bring something back that doesn’t fit inside man’s timeline, structures, or government? Did they bring back divine strategy that’s bringing down man’s coma-inducing agenda? Are we so unaccustomed to miracles that we limit our hope to the boundaries of man’s timeline, structure, and government? Oh boy, this is all so much bigger than we understand at the moment and no, I don’t believe the prophets all went crazy and got it wrong. When you are so accustomed to living a sub-standard life due to fearmongering, extreme indoctrination, lies, corruption, evil and depravity in media, education, entertainment, and religion the true intentions of God cause a massive uproar. That massive uproar is awakening. Things have to be shaken to WAKE. US. UP.

The Fog of Fear
KATHY—In the fog of fear and discouragement, our ability to reason, plan and act is undermined. Lines of right and wrong get fuzzy in that fog. The truth can dim to a faint echo when fear is yelling in our face. That’s why fear is the currency of bullies. They hope to own you and your future, but as a child of God, there is no reason to let them win. Deut.20:4—“For the Lord your God is He who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.”

Dedication and Distraction
Martin P—By the time we find Samson at the Philistine mill grinding grain, it is a noted fact that the Hebrew strong man has already lost his hair which was an outward sign of an inward devotion to his God. We see now not only lost hair, but lost devotion and its resultant ineffectiveness. His vow, i.e., his degree of dedication, was directly connected to his ability and the outcome of his endeavors. The sign and the reality the hair so blazingly represented, are nonexistent. The Philistine princes did not bribe Delilah to give Samson a new hairdo, they bribed her to toy with him and get him distracted from his mandate. Dedication and distraction will end up in an inevitable head-on collision with damaging results. 1Cor.7:35,ESV–“I say this for your own benefit, not to lay any restraint upon you, but to promote good order and to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord.”
