Stir up the Flame
The air was bone-chilling cold. The fire had gone out and it seemed useless to pick up the stick and stir the ashes which looked so lifeless. Yet, when I began to stir around in the ashes, sparks began to fly, embers were exposed to the air and they began to flame into life. The embers that came to life had not been apparent before I stirred up the ashes. I added some small twigs and in a short period of time, after feeding the fire with some larger pieces, I had a full-grown fire to warm myself. Paul urged Timothy, “Stir up the gift of God within you (2Tim.1:6 KJV).” There was no impassioned plea for Timothy to sit quietly by until a holy stick-bearing angel came and stirred up the fire. Actually, the imperative is to do just the opposite: “[You] Fan into flame the gift of God.” This phrase was used in the common vernacular of the time to describe the rekindling of a fire that had been allowed to die down through neglect (W.E. Vine).

From one Side of the Spectrum to the Other
MELISSA—Sometime back I was dealing with a physical matter, not life or death, but an irritating battle that almost caused a lock down due to the “WHAT IF this gets worse” record playing in my head, and it seemed to be stuck on “repeat”. It’s that kind of battle that sent my emotions from one side of the spectrum to the other. After all, I’m not the only person to have dealt with this issue. There are plenty of others living with it. BUT I don’t see why I HAVE to live with it. So, I was seeking God on the matter, and He so beautifully and faithfully gave me revelation regarding my healing all along the journey. Throughout the journey I knew in my core that the physical issue was a done-deal. In fact, at the beginning of the year I heard someone say that this is going to be a year of reversal! WELL, COME ON NOW (go ahead and take that for you and yours right now!). It was just another confirmation that not only was I being healed, but that thing was going to be reversed!

An Increment of His Kingdom
MELISSA — Even though the sky is clearing there may be a storm or two that pops up as we head into the God-ordained days ahead. No worries though, the storms have to “be still” and bow to the intention of God Almighty. In prayer the other night I heard this after it came out of my mouth, “Your Kingdom is over this nation and you are releasing another increment upon us.” What if we are that increment?! What if we are the stealth measures He is putting in place to release a deeper increment of His Kingdom on this earth? Me thinks we are!

Davids Facing Goliaths

The Month of September is For
There are matters of worry that seem so obvious. The month of September is for not letting what seems to be obvious to have control over our emotions and decision-making but stand firm upon the solid promises and the lasting Word of Almighty God. September is the month to quote the eternal Word of God more than we quote the nay-sayers and those who push misbeliefs and misinformation. Ps.37:3,Amp—“Trust [rely on and have confidence] in the Lord and do good; Dwell in the land and feed [securely] on His faithfulness.” Prov.28:26,Amp—“He who trusts confidently in his own heart is a [dull, thickheaded] fool, But he who walks in [skillful and godly] wisdom will be rescued.”

Change-Agent in Ordained Sphere
MELISSA—We are not sissies. We have the DNA, the breath of THE all-powerful God in us. We can be that Change-Agent wherever we are! Here’s something else about a Change-Agent: they stay in their ordained sphere and deposit heaven there. They do not go running all over the world looking for the bad guys. Just imagine Change-Agents waking up all over the world carrying the atmosphere of the Kingdom right in their own region. This Kingdom is way more potent than any other kingdom we see activated right now, so can you imagine what this thing is about to look like?! I’m getting excited over here!

Getting Past a Troubling Dream
KATHY — God does not expose people to a troubling dream so they can be worried and tormented or start grieving early. Intercessors must shake off the emotions of the experience to be able to agree with God and change the situation. The biggest mistake with intercessory insights is the lack of follow-through by the dreamer, and that is usually because: (1.) they do not realize it is a call to intercede, (2.) they fail to accept the mission because of a sense of inadequacy or being unqualified as an intercessor (3.) they stay in the emotion of the dream rather than taking a position of authority and agreement with God to break an assignment or (4.) they go into panic over timing, considering it a done-deal already. Renewing of Your Mind
MELISSA— “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:2) That’s a Change-Agent’s life right there. We PROVE the good, acceptable and perfect will of God. How? By changing our thought habits. We meditate on God’s will, His original intent for this earth. We stop fixating on the enemy’s war around us by realizing his war has intensified because he is feeling the pressure of this never-ending Kingdom in Luke 1:33. We turn our thoughts toward that powerful fact. We engage in power, love, and a sound mind by dumping fear-thoughts that have wreaked havoc (2 Timothy 1:7). This is all possible in our lifetime!

The Lord Give Back Your Dreams
May the Lord give you back your dreams–those dreams that were in your heart before disappointing experiences, hurts, delay of time, and weariness jaded your expectancies. May the Lord bring back to you, in full bloom, the dreams of innocent, hopeful childhood–the hopes that He longed to facilitate when you were born. May we return our hearts to His longings and purposes that do not disappoint but that take us beyond our limited expectations by His grace and giftings. Ps.39:7,TPT—“And now, God, I’m left with one conclusion: my only hope is to hope in you alone!”

Ever Awake and Alert
MELISSA—Yes, it has come to this: Be vigilant – keenly watchful to detect danger; ever awake and alert; sleeplessly watchful. (dictionary.com) Let me go ahead and say, this is not a “you deserve a spanking for allowing the world to go down the toilet” article. Rather this article is aimed at being an alarm clock to wake up God’s sleeping giants to war! Is that you? Well, you’re the one reading this right now, and that is NO COINCIDENCE! So, here’s your wake up call, you beautiful heavenly-Change-Agent, you! What is a heavenly Change-Agent? It’s one who makes a difference wherever they are because they carry Heaven in them. When I say Heaven, I mean one who carries the original intent of God wherever they go. What is God’s original intent? Heaven on earth, a Kingdom without end (Luke 1:31-33). The difference between our Change-Agents and the ones making the news right now is that we cause life, healing, peace, hope, restoration—not death and destruction!

Offense Distorts
Kathy — Offense distorts the way we see everybody and every event in life. Cain obviously did not see God as a loving, wise, just, heavenly Father and he would not accept correction. He was too angry and perhaps too ashamed, too disappointed or too self-absorbed to do the right thing. (One of the major signs of immature character is self-absorption.) We don’t see what is true or right if we cannot see past how we feel. Js.3:16, TPT — “So wherever jealousy and selfishness are uncovered, you will also find many troubles and every kind of meanness.”

The Lord’s Prayer Requests
As the people of God assemble today, may our Lord’s prayer requests be prayed by His people. May those things He desires on earth, in the lives of people be prayed in agreement with His heart and purposes. “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Dreams That are Timely Telegrams
KATHY–I have sensed for several months that the Body of Christ is in an important time of transition into new norms. One of the new norms I believe we can expect is strategic dreams that equip us for the purposes of God. Oh Lord, Surround Our Children
May the Lord God move by the power of His Word and His Spirit in schools across America in this school year. What is a Prophetic Lifestyle?
MELISSA—What is a prophetic lifestyle? It is hearing and seeing God’s intention about the here and now, and what is to come on a regular basis. Or as my Mom puts it, “PROPHETIC” is God revealing Himself, His thoughts, His will, His insights, His plans, His wisdom or instructions or warnings or the plans of hell. Why is a prophetic lifestyle important? A prophetic lifestyle starts with a hearing ear. The statement “He who has ears to hear let him hear” is made in all of the following passages: Matthew 11:15; 13:9; Mark 4:9; Luke 8:8; Revelation 2:7; 3:6. To be said this many times must mean it’s rather important. This lifestyle lives in agreement with the intentions of God and stops enemy assignments from manifesting on the earth. Sliding Into Weariness
KATHY—If we are tired and ignore tired and do not resolve tired, we can slide into weariness. Then our attitude is affected. Like in an airplane, the wrong “attitude” will change the final outcome. Attitude that is off a few degrees will influence our decisions and choices, causing them to miss the mark by a few degrees. That can lead to disappointment, despair and even desperateness. Recognize the first signs of tiredness and take a break for rest. It is during those times the Holy Spirit can redefine “well doing” if necessary. If you get to the “weary” phase you can miss the harvest, you can miss the good results simply because you have lost focus and are not looking. “And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.” (Gal.6:9, Amp)
