Kingdom of Heaven

Jesus used the term “Kingdom of Heaven” attempting to get people’s focus off things that so readily paint a picture of the impossible. Such terminology as kingdomofheaven“Kingdom of Heaven” shows that it is God’s Kingdom that is in stark contrast to the limitations of earth and its finite mindsets. (Jn.18:36) Jesus said,  “My Kingdom is not of this world”. He just as well could have said, “My Kingdom is not of the mindset of this present age.” Jesus had a far different orientation, a far different point of reference and totally different values that He so longed for people to get connected to so they might live as sons and daughters with abundant life (Jn.10:10). We are praying you discover daily that the Kingdom of Heaven is close to you.  (Marty’s Daily Discovery as heard on TEXAS PRAISE RADIO at the bottom of the hour 24 hours/day. www.txpraise.com)

A Far Different Point Of Reference

Point of referenceIt is likely that Jesus would often use the term “Kingdom of Heaven” attempting to get the people’s focus off the “weak and beggarly” (Gal.4:9) and the things that so readily paint a picture of the impossible. Such terminology as “Kingdom of Heaven” shows that it is the Kingdom that is in stark contrast to the limitations of earth and its mindsets. Jesus said,  “My Kingdom is not of this world” (Jn.18:36). He just as well could have said, “My Kingdom is not of the mindset of this present age.” Jesus had a far different orientation, a far different point of reference and totally different values that He so longed for people to get connected to.
