My Place as a Lively Stone
MARTY GABLER–As the people of God assemble today, may each person realize the importance of, and see the value of their place as, a lively stone in the household of God. May they fit appropriately into the wall where the Lord God has set them and augment the local work and the other lively stones they have been set with. “Present yourselves as building stones for the construction of a sanctuary vibrant with life, in which you’ll serve as holy priests offering Christ-approved lives up to God.” (1Pe.2:5, Msg)

Bonds of the Family of God
As the people of God assemble today may they give themselves to the viability of the Word of God and the strength of fellowship and stand firm that their peace not be stolen. May they find refuge in the shelter of the Almighty and find security in the bonds of the family of God. Eph.2:19, ESV — “So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.”
