A Vision of God Massaging a Heart
MELISSA—In one part of a vision God gave me (posted 9-23-22) I saw God’s hand began to massage a heart. In another part I saw 2 rows of white Roman columns as far as the eye could see. The columns I saw in the vision represented the church as we’ve known it, and this scene was looking to the West where the sun sets. The sun is setting on old traditional structures of the church. After the columns fell I began to hear a heartbeat. It got so loud that the earth shook. I looked back at the hole where the heart transplant was taking place, and with every beat of this new heart horrible black creatures began frantically crawling out of the hole. Every beat drove more hordes out only for them to disintegrate as they tried to run. A white light began filling the space that was once full of black slime and I heard “Ruach”. Ruach means: spirit, wind, breathe (ex. Isaiah 11:2) and it was filling the pitch-black core of this nation. Once more I looked back toward the West where the columns had fallen and they were no longer there. In their place was lush greenery that was growing and I heard, Isa. 43:18-19 “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Bad Words-Bad Atmosphere
KATHY GABLER—Do we set a bad atmosphere with our thoughts or emotions or words, or does the atmosphere hunt us down to dictate our thoughts or emotions or words? I believe the answer is both. We certainly have the ability to create an atmosphere for ourselves and everyone around us. One person’s impatience in a waiting room can have everyone tense and walking on eggshells in a matter of seconds. One person’s panic can clear a room. Our expectations, meditations, fears or our mouthing against self can fill the air until it is lethal. However, not only people are able to condition an atmosphere. The devil is called “the prince of the power of the air” (Eph.2:2) for a reason. He is skilled at blowing in a foul wind to influence people and situations. The Old Testament word “ruach” is translated “spirit” most often, but it means “wind” or “breath”. In the New Testament, the same word is “pneuma”. A spirit or wind can carry a contradiction to the will of God into an atmosphere by blowing in a lie or fear or threat or opinion or accusation, etc. The air becomes its infected storage place so that it can affect and influence thoughts and feelings when it finds an advantage, an open window. Just as we breathe in air unconsciously, we can also come under the influence of what’s in the air unconsciously. It can become an influence over our emotions and thoughts and decisions. Prov.12:18,TPT—“Reckless words are like the thrusts of a sword, cutting remarks meant to stab and to hurt. But the words of the wise soothe and heal.”

An Open Door Worth Pressing Through
Marty—There is a door open before us and we are called to press through. 1Corinthians 16:9-10 “There is a wide-open door for a great work…” There is something worth pressing through to on the other side. It is a day-by-day pressing. The matter of walking with the Lord and trusting the Lord is day in and day out (Deut.5:33). We are pressing and shall press through because the pressing is leading to another level, to things in God and God’s Kingdom agenda that we have never seen or experienced.

The Big Picture and the Good News
MELISSA—Here’s the good news of the big picture, “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.” (Ps. 24:1) He is not going to abandon His creation. He is going to fully possess this earth and He is going to do that through His sons/daughters. This is seriously the time to step out of the chaos to see what’s happening. He is exposing, tearing down, uprooting and dealing with evil. When you see the big picture it changes your perspective in the heat of the battle. This world is not being destroyed, it’s being turned right-side up, “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.” (Is. 65:17)

Wisdom to Prevail in Days Ahead
KATHY — Wisdom is working to equip us to prevail in days ahead over key forces like offense, self-pity, anger and fear. The power of those forces is that they condition us to defeat ourselves. Offense is stumbling and it causes us to cripple ourselves. Offense causes us to become distrustful and desert our post. We do not have to take in offense even when it comes banging on our door with every logic. Ps.119:165, TPT — “There is such a great peace and well-being that comes to the lovers of your word, and they will never be offended.”

Grow Strong and be Filled With Wisdom
This is the day the Lord has made (Ps.118:24) so…. I will rejoice and be glad and grow strong in spirit and be filled with wisdom in it. Jesus was born with purpose and so are we. From the beginning, He not only grew physically but in His spirit and in wisdom for what was to come (Lk.2:52). One of our major goals for our children in 2024 should be to see them filled with the Spirit and to train them in godly wisdom. “And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of God was upon Him.” (Lk.2:40, Amp)

How Much Will the Kingdom of God Advance?
Jim Hodges: “The question is not how much does the Kingdom advance before the King returns. The question is how much will the Body of Christ pray and participate in the agenda of the Kingdom of God in the culture? Prepare Us, O Lord
MELISSA—Recently on a Sunday morning I was getting ready for church and asked the Lord what I needed to pray over the service that day and I clearly heard, “Prepare us for the onslaught.” I instantly had a sense that there are challenges coming to those of us that have been in the church for a while, challenges that will try to knock us off of our foundation in Christ. I literally heard the question being asked, “Is what I have believed my whole life even true?” I shared this with those in my Pastor’s office before service. During worship Pastor asked me to share this and then he followed up with having the congregation take hands all across the room. He proceeded to say, “Hold. Hold. Hold,” and then he said, “This is the stance we have to take in the days ahead.” This could not have been more accurate instruction. Within the following weeks lives began to erupt like a volcano. There was a moment in the midst of it all I was reminded of what I’d heard and realized I’d thought it was going to come from outside, but it started from the inside first. My Pastor’s words started ringing in my head, “HOLD.” This instruction brought peace and stability.

Priorities and Stewardship
The priorities we give ourselves to now are already having an impact upon our future. I have heard regrets expressed like, “If only we would have saved ‘X’ amount of money each month instead of buying that timeshare, we would have enough for this major home repair we have had to borrow money for.” “If we would have spent more time with our son while he was growing up, maybe he wouldn’t have ended up in so much trouble.” Each of us can picture those scenarios in our minds and just what they might entail and the “if” in each example rings significantly. Stewardship of our person and of the present and future events of our lives, community and nation will not only have a resulting impact upon us but also upon many others, including family. A great deal of confusing events are going on in our nation presently and they are impacting our lives and loudly screaming for our attention and energy and finance. And yet… stewardship matters.
A King has stewards so He will have someone to act through for the needs of those in His domain and the advancement of that domain (Lk.12:42-48). The King’s stewards consider present actions for future benefit of the King and His Kingdom as well as the efficient present function of that Kingdom. 1Pe.1:13, TPT — “So then, prepare your hearts and minds for action! Stay alert and fix your hope firmly on the marvelous grace that is coming to you. For when Jesus Christ is unveiled, a greater measure of grace will be released to you.” Lk.12:35-36, TPT — “Be prepared for action at a moment’s notice. 36 Be like the servants who anticipate their master’s return from a wedding celebration. They are ready to unlock and open the door for him at a moment’s notice.”
Voting is a privilege of citizenship and a basic act of Christian stewardship. You make the choice: do you want America or non-America? After November 3, 2020 it will be one or the other.
