How do we Prepare for What’s Ahead?

MELISSA GABLER—How do we prepare for what’s ahead? You’ve been made ready in ways you haven’t put together yet, but it will come together as we head into the year. Also, we need to realize it’s just time to BE the new creation Jesus exemplified. We need to pick up the Bible and rehearse the things Jesus set in motion. We typically call those “promises,” but in our modern culture that word tends to have only a future connotation. His promises are fully alive and available for application now and where we are headed. For instance, we read in the gospels about fish and bread being multiplied to feed thousands. We need to be ready to facilitate that new creation norm. Finally, remember this isn’t all about evil being exposed. Our focus needs to be on the increasing Kingdom that is going to be revealed in the midst of the mess. “I have told you these things in parables (veiled language, allegories, dark sayings); the hour is now coming when I shall no longer speak to you in figures of speech, but I shall tell you about the Father in plain words and openly (without reserve).” (John 16:25 Amplified) The reality and mysteries of God being uncovered will be the biggest mind-blower of all! The “brainwashed zombie” in each of us will try and hold on to old logic through the upheaval ahead, but the new creation we already are will bring us through to a victory that words can’t relay right now.

Fruit, The New Year Essential

KATHY GABLER—Fruit, The New Year Essential
Fruit is healthy for the physical body, but we don’t benefit from it being beautifully displayed in the fruit bowl.  It has to be eaten and ingested to become a part of us.  Likewise we read about the fruit of the Spirit, but until they are evidenced in our lives we have an ideal rather than an impact.  The fruit of the Spirit are not an optional dessert on the buffet of the Christian life.  Neither are the fruit of the Spirit a spiritual nature that we struggle to display.  The fruit of the Spirit is His nature and when we submit to and follow the Holy Spirit (in daily choices) we manifest His nature.  Believer or non-believer, who doesn’t benefit from God bringing “gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard–things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.”  (Galatians 5 The Message)

Tenaciously Cling to Word of God

Marty Gabler—We take God’s Word, grab hold of it and tenaciously cling to it until it carries us into tomorrow. “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying… I will do all my pleasure.” (Isa46:10) This means that God declares something before there is anything like it in existence and when it is time for it to be manifest, it comes into existence. He is not finished declaring over you!

Standing on the Truth

MELISSA GABLER—Our stance in this season is standing — standing on the truth that our magnificent God is doing something BIG. He is establishing His plan for 2025 and beyond. We GET to be a part of this. We GET to be a change agent simply by standing.  Yes, YOU have what is needed for this moment.  Now is not the time to throw your hands up. Now is the time to take a deep breath and watch the glorious show unfolding in the days ahead. Yes, there will be shockers.  BUT all we need to know is that those shockers are proof that God is shaking what can be shaken (Heb.12:27-28)!  Thankful to be Your daughter, my King.  “The kingdom of God doesn’t come by counting the days on the calendar. Nor when someone says, ‘Look here!’ or, ‘There it is!’ And why? Because God’s kingdom is already among you.” (Luke 17:21 MSG) It’s time to wake up, and be who we were born to be.  Let’s win this war, as God has intended.

With God Nothing is Impossible

KATHY GABLER—“For with God nothing will be impossible,” (Lk.1:37) means just that . . . WITH Him, the impossible is accomplished. That means no strain on my part will bring about the impossible and neither will my determined efforts cause God to do the impossible. Pushing or tugging at God will not work, but walking WITH Him will position us to see the impossible become possible whenever necessary. Walking with Him will keep us from stumbling blindly from one assumption to another or from one disappointment to another. Walking with Him involves His confirming presence and recognizing His orchestration of people, circumstances and time to confirm our path. His love for us is so unfailing and detailed that He not only protects our destiny, He even salvages it at every point possible throughout our existence.

Those Who are Bowed Down

Marty Gabler–As the people of God assemble today may the hope in our Lord’s Name and presence cause to stand erect those who are bowed under discouragement.
“The Lord upholds all those [of His own] who are falling and raises up all those who are bowed down.” (Ps.145:14, Amp)

Awareness of Possibilities

Marty Gabler—Previous restrictions are being removed and our awareness of possibilities and solutions for our family, nation and future will increase. Our awareness will increase so that we may participate and lead in the resolve of issues. Isa.54 is a great place to start the month of February and 2025.
3-“For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left. And your descendants will possess nations And will resettle the desolate cities.
4-“Fear not, for you will not be put to shame;  And do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced;  But you will forget the shame of your youth,  And the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more. (Isa.54:3-4, NASB)
“YOUTH”: when things were attempted but nothing was accomplished; this doesn’t necessarily refer to biological age but to the early attempts we made at what we thought was purpose. Also refers to untimely words, foolish actions and decisions.
“WIDOWHOOD”: unproductive, unfruitful time; a widow did not bare children or increase family, but was known for suffering loss.
We will not be disgraced for we will not remember the shame and reproach and will therefore look for progress and victories through God’s grace.
DECLARE: “My awareness of possibilities and solutions is increasing and I will break out on the right and on the left and will not fear because I will no longer remember any shame.”
