Enabling Blessings

PraiseMay the Lord bless you with good brain activity and efficient thought processes and may you have better memory recall than you ever have. May He reinforce your cell walls and rejuvenate your organs to operate at full capacity without fail. May the Lord of Heaven restore lost and damaged blood cells and make them healthy and vibrant. May He give you every enabling blessing for His Kingdom purposes. (Prov.14:30)

No Vacancy

Jesus said, “The ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in me (Jn 14:30).” In other words, there was nothing of the nature of the ruler of this world in Jesus NoVacancy.jpgthat he could lay claim to. Everything of God that is in you that is born of the Spirit and the Word, satan cannot lay claim to. He cannot get hold of it and he cannot jerk you around with it. But everything that is akin to his nature, everything in our peevish attitudes, everything in our personality, our fleshliness and carnality that we allow out from under the lordship of Jesus Christ, the prince of this world will get hold of it and jerk us completely off the course of destiny for our lives. And he will use the controlling agendas and side-tracking focus of men’s designs if they can find some greed for power or craving for notoriety within us to hold on to. It is time now to put up neon-bright “No Vacancy” signs on the temples of God which we are, to notify the enemy that we are already obligated to Him who has bought us and we are not our own (1Co 6:19-20).

According to Thy Word

Praise man hands liftedAs the people of God assemble today may they tremble at the Word of God (Isa.66:2) and declare before the Lord “be it unto me according to thy Word” so that His redemptive purposes may be performed through willing hearts in this earth.  Isa 66:2  “…to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.” Luke 1:38 “And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.”

What Hope do we Hold to?

Hold on to Hope.jpg

No Need to Strain

WomanStrainingHeadache.jpgYour gift will make a place for you in the Body of Christ (Prov.18:16). You don’t have to strain at it nor do you have to make a place for yourself. Allow God to develop in you the particular gifting the Holy Spirit has put in you. The typical scriptural scenario will show it takes time to develop the Spirit’s gifts in humans. God uses people, circumstances and time.

Faith, Obedience, Endurance

ManCarryLoad.jpgFaith will cause us to act on the Word of God. Obedience will cause us to be true to the Word of God rather than giving in to our emotions and disappointments. Endurance is just a lot of work and there is nothing at all easy about that. (Gal.6:9)

How do I Take the Land?

Man Holding LoudspeakerHow do I “take the land?” According to the example in the book of Deuteronomy, Israel took the land by dispossessing  the enemy. Discouragement, fear of failure or rejection and doubts of others are all enemies of promise. Displace those enemies with truth out of your own mouth. “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess.” (Heb.10:23)

Alignment With God’s Plan

GettingInAlignment.jpgGod is not without purpose, not without a plan. But there are times God has been without someone to stand in the gap calling upon Him to move power and authority from heaven into the earth. (Eze.22:30) Calling unto God in alignment with His plan and purpose brings restoration (Jer.33:6-34).

Created to Move Forward

We were created to move forward and because of Him Who has called us and enabled us, we should be filled with anticipation for what we are journeying into in Group Walk Hill.jpgthis coming year. “And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it.” (Jos.3:5) “Remove from your place” actually means “to pull up tent pegs”. God is not the only One doing any activity. The prophet Micah doesn’t seem to be waiting for some outside stimulant to condition him. He takes what he already knows of his God and decides what his mindset and actions shall be. Mic.7:7  “But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: My God will hear me.” I agree with the declaration: “I anticipate the inevitable, supernatural, intervention of God!”

They Will Anticipate Something

The coming generation will anticipate something. Who will give them something to ChildLookAhead.jpganticipate? Will they anticipate hopelessness or the possibilities of the God of the Bible? One of the biggest favors we can do the coming generation is to build anticipation into them, anticipation for the intervention of God, anticipation to see God do something no previous generation has ever seen. Every time people speak of tragedy and hopelessness, let us say to the coming generation, “BUT GOD….”. Let’s help them keep their anticipator alive and well and functioning at peak capacity. Let’s charge it up at every opportunity!

Sing of His Righteousness

PraiserejoiceAs the people of God assemble today, may they speak and sing together of the great goodness of Jehovah God and adore Him in the company of those who are of like faith that the atmosphere may resound with His goodness and the people be lifted above their trials.  “They shall pour forth [like a fountain] the fame of Your great and abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of Your rightness and justice.” (Ps.145:7, Amplified Bible)

May the Lord Answer You

praying_trustingMay the Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob set you securely on high! May He send you help from the sanctuary and support you from Zion! May he remember all… your offerings. May He grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your counsel! We will sing for joy over your victory, and… set up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your petitions. (Ps.20:1-5)

The Kingdom and the Child

The passage of Mk.10:15 is not talking about getting to heaven. It is talking about the authority, power, rule of God. Mk.10:15  “…Whosoever shall not receive the ChildLookUp.jpgkingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.” “As a child” paints the picture of a child who is always full of anticipation. Embracing that picture, we will not try bringing to God our agendas, preconceived ideas, preferences, and hearts/minds with no imagination available to God. Out of the four million Israelites trapped against the Red Sea, how many do you think used their imagination to encourage the others that God would use the rod of Moses to part the sea so they could cross over on dry ground? They were stuck in the mindset of powerless servants who would not allow their minds to go beyond the typical thought processes of a subjugated people. A merciful God sent the prophet Moses with a word for them that would enable them to move beyond those old mental habits.
