In David’s son Absalom, the people got the appearance and looks that fit their agenda but they didn’t get the character in the man. He was able 
to present a fine appearance and a desirable program but there was no character behind the appearance. Absalom got the results of a self-promoter and Israel got the privilege of dealing with the fallout. Maybe if we give ourselves to time and process and track records, we will have less fallout to deal with. Quality decisions and relationship over time engender trust. (1Thess.5:12, KJV) “And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you.” We are praying you discover daily that you are trusting others only as you give them time to prove themselves trustworthy.
