Prayer & Declare

potterPrayer & Declare
I declare a settling of all matters that concern me. I declare this body I live in will conform to and strongly serve the Kingdom purposes of my King so that I may fully realize my value and design in those purposes. In Christ Jesus I have value for His Kingdom purposes in my generation.

“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.” (Ps.138:8, NKJV)

No Fear of Being De-sonned

No Fear of Being De-sonned (Kathy)

The offensive strategy of sons of God gathering to strengthen and equip and be enabled to serve their place of purpose and calling in life is going to pivot on the individual believer getting this and maturing into a confident father-and-son-holding-handsFather/son relationship.  That’s a relationship that cannot be shaken by mistakes or failures, a bond that cannot be weakened by hard times and a relationship that can’t be manipulated by accusation or condemnation.  Condemnation is probably the #1 most successful tool against Christians because it causes people to live like yoyo’s—up one minute, down the next—vitally involved one month and feeling totally disqualified the next.  Condemnation is deadly because it measures your salvation by your behavior and disqualifies you with every error, sin or failure.  Here’s a key:   condemnation can only do you damage when your focus is works and behavior instead of relationship. Sons know they don’t get into the family by being perfect, so they don’t fear being de-sonned because of imperfection. Condemnation always connects your behavior to your self-worth, but God doesn’t.  So, mature sons must learn to think like their Father and not remain an immature son who is likely to disinherit himself.

Limitations To Sonship

(Kathy) So many challenges church leaders are facing are signals of how much this transition (from a religious mindset of church as an obligation to God Empty-Pewsto being effectual sons of God) is needed:  finances decreasing, the same number of broken families in church as out, local churches losing respect and influence in the community and people losing motivation to be a part of the local church.  Rather than be discouraged, we can take these things as a sign that it is time to take new ground.  If we will move from traditional expectations and limitations to sonship,  we’ll move into the empowerment of relationship where people are no longer just members of a church but Sons of God gathering to strengthen and equip and be enabled to serve their place of purpose and calling in life.

“Offense: The Kingdom In Action” by Kathy Gabler

“Offense: The Kingdom In Action” (Kathy Gabler)

OffenseI believe we are in a transition moving from a religious mindset that views church as meetings that satisfy an obligation to God to realizing we are all sons of God gathering to be effectual, by living our lifetime demonstrating His Kingdom-come and will-being-done on earth as it is in heaven.  This is not a new transition. It’s just a time of greater momentum with more obvious results and changes. The yeast is spreading, permeating our understanding. (Matt. 13:33)

Walking In Kingdom Principles

Walking In Kingdom Principles
surgeryIf we do not understand and walk in Kingdom principles it is doubtful that the King will willingly release to us His authority lest it be squandered and bring shame to His name. It would be foolish trying to repair a truck with a manual for a computer or trying to do surgery on someone using an instruction manual for fly fishing. Even so, it is not possible to operate in Kingdom authority the way typical men think and operate in the world system. Yet, as we yield to the time and processing of the Kingdom dynamic of His proving, the world will see the Kingdom and not just hear of the Kingdom while relegating it to a merely future context. The hope of the Kingdom that is yet to come is evidenced in its impact in the present and that impact comes through willing agency.

HOW DO WE LEARN TO OPERATE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD?

HOW DO WE LEARN TO OPERATE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD?

Listed here are some factors to consider when desiring to operate in kingly authority: (1) search out and learn principles such as the one found in Luke 16. There is more to come in the Kingdom crownand we are presently (2) wrestling with the trials and proving grounds that will allow us the power and authority we so desperately need for ourselves and others. (3) Issues of continual defeat in our lives prevent and hold back the evidence of the Kingdom of God. Therefore, we must aggressively take hold of the Kingdom where we have been tenaciously clinging to the weaknesses that set us up for continual defeat.  (4) It is plainly stated that if the man in Lk 16:10-12 cannot be trusted with money, he will most definitely not be trusted with power and authority that gets done what money falls short of doing. Quality decisions and relationship over time engender trust. (5) Ongoing relationship to other people in the Kingdom will bring us into both knowledge and experience that will enable us to take part in the dynamic of the Kingdom.

Testing And Proving

Rom 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (NAS)  The Kingdom of God is not made of things that give us life in our Forging Processnatural flesh. The Kingdom of God, true riches, are beyond the natural; that is why it is righteousness, peace and joy “in the Holy Spirit.” The presence and activity of the Holy Spirit in our lives is the only way for the display and function of those necessities which are beyond the natural. Yet it still remains from the principle of Scripture that there is some testing and proving going on to see if we might be trusted with true riches. There are those things in this present age which await transaction and that transaction can only come about with the Transacting Power of true riches. Testing and proving is a dynamic characteristic of the Kingdom of God for those who would “be about their Father’s business.”

LIVING KINGDOM PRINCIPLE — TRUE RICHES

LIVING KINGDOM PRINCIPLE — TRUE RICHES

treasureWe desire that the King be able to trust us with true riches. Lk 16:10-12 “Who will trust you with true riches?” In v.10 Jesus relates to us the principle that he who does not stay around long enough to be proven cannot be trusted.  V.11 speaks of the true riches which He desires to entrust to us. The “talents” or money in Mt 25:14-29 which the Master entrusts to His servants are only a measure and test because He so desires to endue the trustworthy with true riches for the purpose of great accomplishment for the Master’s plan. True riches are things that get done what money (“unrighteous mammon” -v.11) cannot get done. “TRUE”: Gk. alethinos — opposite to what is fictitious, counterfeit, imaginary, simulated or pretended; opposite to what is imperfect defective, frail, uncertain (Thayer). All of the above describes this age and its system—its means and results. Any means or results short of Holy Spirit’s doing are defective and imperfect. Those who operate in the Kingdom of God get things done with the enablement of true riches.

“COMING” THROUGH TIME & TRIAL

“COMING” THROUGH TIME & TRIAL

hands on ropeThe process is worked in us and as we submit to the process and principles, the way God does things, we will get the kind of results Jesus got. It evidently is a “coming” through time and trial. From the message of Scripture (cf. Lk 16 in the following paragraph) it would appear that it is a both/and process: (1) men are aggressively taking hold of the Kingdom (Mt 11:12; Lk 16:16) and at the same time, (2) the Kingdom is processing them (Lk 16:10-12).

COMING THROUGH HUMAN AGENCY — PROCESS

COMING THROUGH HUMAN AGENCY — PROCESS

hands reachingAccording to the language Jesus used in Matthew, the coming of the Kingdom of God is a process. Mt 6:10 “Thy Kingdom come.” The word “come” in that verse means: to come forth, to find place or influence; to be established (Thayer). This is not a magical popping into existence. The Kingdom comes forth, finds place and influence and is established in and through human agency today just as it came through human agency in Lk 4:21, Mt 12:28, Lk 9:10, and Lk 11:20. It came through Jesus and through His disciples. (cf. Jn 14:12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater {works} than these shall he do; because I go to the Father. NAS)
