Hearts Given To What Matters To Him

Congregation2

As the people of God assemble today, may we allow our Lord to direct
our hearts and minds on to the matter He has for us to focus on as a
corporate body. May we give ourselves to corporate unity so that His
purposes might accomplish notable results beyond the walls of the
gathering because our hearts were given to what matters to Him.

“We have thought, O God, on Your lovingkindness,  In the midst
of Your temple.” (Ps.48:9, NKJV)

Like Yeast In A Lump

doughMay the Word of God you have spoken to family, friends and strangers
continue to work in them like yeast working in dough. May it speak to
them in the quiet of the wee hours, in the middle of their work day and
in the midst of their troubles. And may they finally see that truth and
respond with a realizing “Yes!”.

“The Kingdom of Heaven can be compared to a woman making bread.
She takes a measure of flour and mixes in the yeast until it permeates
every part of the dough.” (Matt.13:33, Living Bible)

We Will Not Fall Backward

FallBackwardThere are blessings, signs, wonders and miracles about to happen in our lives, our families, our churches and our nation because God was witnessing of it before you and I were ever born—for His Name’s sake. We will not fall backward from promise in our confession. We will not say as Abraham, “Since You have given no offspring to me, one born in my house is my heir.” (Gen.15:3). Because He who is Witness responds “This man will not be your heir; but one who will come forth from your own body, he shall be your heir.” (v.4)

Skin Be Renewed

skinMay your skin be without irritation and may it be
renewed like a baby’s. May you have the glow
of
the Life that dwells within you and may people
tell you regularly that you look much younger
than your natural years. May your loved-ones
delight in touching you and kissing you. May
people ask you your secret and why you are
so vibrant.

“[Then the man’s] flesh shall be restored;
it becomes fresher and more tender than
a child’s; he
returns to the days of his
youth.” (Job 33:25, Amp)

Jehovah As Witness

MountainThe result of “call unto me” is “I will answer you.” That word “answer” means “to respond as a witness.” (Brown-Driver-Briggs) God is not coming to the witness stand to say, “Well, back in 600 B.C. ‘this’ happened and so-and-so did ’that’.”  “But He is a witness to what is going to happen because He is going to bring it about.  From the very beginning telling you what the ending will be, All along letting you in on what is going to happen, Assuring you, ‘I’m in this for the long haul, I’ll do exactly what I set out to do’.” (Isa 46:10, MSG) Jehovah is the kind of witness who does not come and say what He saw but what He sees. He declares the end of a thing before it ever gets started. He is not sitting around talking about what happened a year ago, He is already speaking of that which is in the coming year and He is requiring agreement with it.

Sleep Soundly

sleeping people

May the Lord’s people sleep soundly and receive all the rest you should as you
sleep and awake
refreshed with all the energy you need for the day’s tasks.
May you get done more than you had previously thought possible.

“You will not be afraid when you go to bed, and you will sleep soundly
through the  night.”  (Prov.3:24, GNT)

Which You Do Not Know

Astonishingly, the “which you do not know” (Jer.33:3) part is not with reference to anything that has been kept secret or that has not existed here-to-fore. This is not the first time Jeremiah has Dont know3heard of Jehovah’s desire to deliver and restore Israel. “Which you do not know” is, in fact, something Jeremiah does not now know because it is now covered up and overwhelmed with present circumstances and everyone’s conclusions. The sounds of destruction, conversation of people in dismay and the obvious presence of the enemy’s army are so loudly proclaiming destruction that Jeremiah has forgotten what he once knew and is, therefore, unable to proclaim it, let alone act on it. The desire of Jehovah has been displaced with other considerations and conclusions. But even before there is one ounce or semblance of relief, Jeremiah is required to vocally come into agreement with that which God is determined to grant, no matter appearances or opinions.

May Fathers Discern Potential

Palestinian family prays during Mass at Israeli church

As the people of God assemble today, may hearts of fathers be turned to the coming generation. May fathers in our congregations discern the potential of the youth around them and let their hearts be turned to affirming them, encouraging them and enabling them on to their destiny in Christ. May this be the most memorable Father’s Day with fathers and children turned to each other in love and in honor, grasping the heavenly Father’s heart for the generations to glorify His intent.

“May the Lord richly bless both you and your children.” (Ps.115:14, TLB)
