Is Prayer Just Kicking and Screaming?

Marty Gabler—Have there been times when “prayer” was pretty much just kicking and screaming until you were worn out, then lying in a puddle of tears hoping God, in bountiful pity, put all the puzzle pieces in place just as you prefer them? Was “rest” just a foreign word? The word “rest” is a delightful word. Our rest is (2Tim.1:12) “I know (have knowledge of, and am acquainted with) Him Whom I have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on), and I am [positively] persuaded that He is able to guard and keep that which has been entrusted to me and which I have committed [to Him] until that day.” In God we trust. We are praying you discover daily our Lord’s invitation, “Come to me and I will give you rest”.

Relentless, Relent Today!

MELISSA GABLER—Melissa received a word in early morning prayer that she and I have agreed on to declare throughout the day. She said, “That which has been so relentless will relent today!”    Isa.54:17—“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord.”

The Heat of Battle

KATHY GABLER— Battle heats up by reason of the needed outcome. Heat determines the strength of a weld, so does the intensity of battle establish the strength and longevity of the victory. The vehemence of battle welds the outcome in undeniable purpose rather than just leaving us with fragmented memories of war. Heat is one of the components of long-term victory and intense battle yields intensely awesome results! Ps.18:39, Amplified Version — “For You have encircled me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.”

Realizing You Have Won Battles

MARTY GABLER—As the people of God assemble today may they experience the elation and joy of realizing that, in the moment of praise and hearing the Word of God, they have won battles over satan. May they experience the lifting of burdens and lifting of the weightiness of despair. Ps.68:19-20, The Passion Translation — “What a glorious God! He gives us salvation over and over, then daily He carries our burdens! Pause in his presence.  20  Our God is a mighty God who saves us over and over! For the Lord, Yahweh, rescues us from the ways of death many times.”

The Weapons Being Formed

KATHY GABLER–God Sees The Weapons Being Formed–The fact is that our God sees a weapon being formed whether we do or not. Therefore, He prepares and equips us to defeat that weapon. At the point that we realize this, we literally neutralize the long-term effect of an attack and turn the situation toward resolve. When a customized weapon shows up, we need not waste time denying it in the name of faith, but neither do we abide it. For reasons unknown, there is a glitch in some people’s thinking that if we cannot deny it, then we cannot defy it. That prevalent thinking is erroneous and dangerous thinking. No matter what the conditions or how many battles break out, we must defy until we defeat and we must allow no prisoners. We place our agreement strategically and emphatically upon the character and power and word of God and allow no creeping “buts” concerning statistics or age or personal history or deserving or “what if?”
Ps.33:18-19–Watch this: God’s eye is on those who respect him, the ones who are looking for his love. He’s ready to come to their rescue in bad times; in lean times he keeps body and soul together.
20-22–We’re depending on God; he’s everything we need. What’s more, our hearts brim with joy since we’ve taken for our own his holy name. Love us, God, with all you’ve got— that’s what we’re depending on.

Not Give Up

MARTY GABLER—May you not give up on one thing or one person this week. May you keep praying and believing and standing on the Word of God to get through that thing and may you believe for that person, and may you see breath-taking results.  “But you must stay deeply rooted and firm in your faith. You must not give up the hope you received when you heard the good news.” (Col.1:23a, CEV)

Heirs of the Kingdom Awaken

MELISSA GABLER—We are dealing with evil on center stage trying to control the narrative, our lives and pave the future. This is literally the kind of stuff sci-fi and horror movies are made of. The control factor for this evil is fear produced from propaganda and the rules of engagement are simply: do what we say, don’t defy us and you won’t be a horrible person and you won’t die. Those are the rules of engagement from the evil spirit of the age. Excuse me? It’s obvious by the shape society and the church are in that we have abided by those rules for a very, very long time. I don’t think we’ve realized what was going on until now. It has taken this awakening to expose how subjected we are to society’s rules and demands. These rules and demands have overreached in the areas such as what aging looks like, how to deal with disease, relationships, what love is, how the church should look to keep up, what to do to be happy (because that’s the goal), etc. Those rules have made God look like a weak humanist, which has been the end game all along. So, how do the rules of engagement change? The heirs of the Kingdom actually awaken to who they are and stop playing by these rules. This is all part of the ongoing awakening that we are experiencing.

Preparation Against Weapons

KATHY GABLER—Preparation Against Weapons—Melissa was recently awakened at 5:00 am on a Sunday morning with a terrible pain in her thigh.  Something was biting her.  She was already conditioned to panic with a memory root of having been bitten in her sleep before by a brown recluse spider.   Added to that, she had killed a scorpion in her house three weeks earlier.  So conditioned, she jumped up in a frantic search to find her attacker.  Suddenly, however, the Spirit of the Lord said, “Don’t you think I have prepared your body to beat the weapon I saw being formed against you?”  She then remembered the downloads the Holy Spirit had been giving her in recent weeks concerning foods and specific nutrients to take.  Her panic turned to peace as quickly as it had sprung up, and the bite lost its threat. She found the culprit, dead from her slap, and the bite was a tiny dot by midmorning.  “Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet.” (Eph.6:13)

He Neither Faints nor Grows Weary

MARTY GABLER–As the people of God assemble today, may the weary receive strength and the weak receive power.
Isa 40:27-31 says, Why do you say, . . . “My way is hidden from the LORD, and my just claim is passed over by my God”? Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who WAIT upon the LORD will renew their strength. [vigor, physical strength, ability, power, fruitfulness, wealth.] They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary [exhausted from labor], they will walk and not be faint. [fatigued, weakened by weariness]” (NIV)

A Place of Sanctuary

MARTY GABLER—By end of day, have you felt that you were in an environment that had no understanding of your beliefs and values? Did it press on you like a heavy weight that seemed to preoccupy your mind? You and each of your family members need a place that is familiar, a place that is a sanctuary from cynicism and expressions of hopelessness. May your home be a place of faith where you are edified and the Name of the Lord is spoken and His blessings are enjoyed.  (Prov.24:3, Amp) “Through skillful and godly Wisdom is a house (a life, a home, a family) built, and by understanding it is established [on a sound and good foundation],”  We are praying you discover daily that you are making your home into a safe haven of faith and love.
