When it’s Not so Obvious

MELISSA GABLER—These demon doctrines are taught through so many avenues that you don’t have to be looking for darkness for darkness to find you. These doctrines make their way into schools, government, entertainment, social media, even church. Witchcraft, new age, dark arts, occult are recognizable demon doctrines when they are coming through those that are obviously into these things but it’s not so obvious when it’s in a Christian. It’s harder to spot in a Christian because it’s a mixture of truth and lies and our enemy is very good at twisting those two together. See, when we embrace this stuff it causes a mixture in us. Then the way we live our lives is completely affected by this mixture. If our enemy can get us to embrace these evil teachings, which is done in the most subtle of ways, then he can control or destroy us.

Asking Why

KATHY GABLER—Miracles And Asking “Why?” God does so much; there are so many elements in a miracle. I have been praying for two years, “God, help me to start connecting the dots. I want to see you. I want to learn your ways. Help me to connect the dots.” When I was little I got spankings for asking, “Why?” Many people say, “Oh, don’t ever ask God, ‘Why?’.” I don’t agree with that. If you are asking “Why?” in accusation, then it would just be better to be quiet. But if you are asking “Why?” to learn His ways, I say He will show you His ways.  “He made known His ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of Israel.” Ps.103:7

Bringing Evidences of the Kingdom

MARTY GABLER—Holy Father God, I thank you that you are bringing the evidences of the Kingdom, the rule, the higher rule, the beneficent rule, it is a loving rule, it is a compassionate rule. (Ps.145:13) It is redemptive government and I thank you that you are bringing it so close to us that it is taking our breath! I declare over your people that the government of God is so sovereignly active among us that from now on we are going to be giving reports to one another about how our breath was taken because we saw the sovereign activity of God right before our eyes.

Deliverance and Hitting a Wall

MELISSA GABLER—Over the past year I have been walking through deliverance and feeling like a new person until I hit a wall recently. I asked the Holy Spirit what this was and at first I heard to renounce old wives’ tales. So I started renouncing old wives’ tales I had come into agreement with. I hit the wall again and then I asked the Holy Spirit a couple of times what that wall was and I heard, “doctrines of demons”. I am familiar with that passage in 1 Timothy 4:1 “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,”. I thought I knew what that meant: witchcraft, new age, dark arts, occult, etc, until the Holy Spirit proceeded to show me there is more to it than I thought. Let’s look at 1 Timothy 1:1-2, “But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,” verse 7-8, “But stay away from worthless stories that are typical of old women. Rather, discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness; 8 for bodily training is just slightly beneficial, but godliness is beneficial for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.” First of all, my mouth dropped open when I saw “stories that are typical of old women” in that scripture. That’s the ‘old wives tales’ the Holy Spirit told me to renounce so this was confirmation that He was leading me down a path of eye-opening awakening and deliverance! To put these scriptures in my words: In these last days we can fall away from the faith if we listen to (and embrace) those who are very deceived or purposely spouting the plans and intentions of evil – that they were taught, influenced by, brainwashed with by deceitful spirits and demons.

Stealth Mode Weapons

KATHY GABLER—Stealth Mode Weapons——Another stealth mode weapon that had long term effect in my life kept me focused on rules instead of relationship until I realized that God is not looking for perfect Christians but sons who will hold firmly to their sonship.  Look at the weapon formed against us as the church with the implication that our salvation is based on perfect behavior.  That misconception, that our salvation pivots on behavior rather than the cross, is a slap in the face of Christ, yet is widely embraced as though it were the gospel.  The cross is the pivot of our salvation.  Righteous behavior is a result of centering on the finished works of Christ.  The inordinate priority of legal and illegal behavior is a weapon, a religious misbelief that God is grading behavior to measure righteousness.  Instead, God is looking for sons who cannot be talked out of their righteousness, sons who will not be manipulated by fear and legalism, sons who will not be robbed by condemnation.  A son does not believe more in his ability to fail than in his relationship with his Father.  That kind of trust will enable mature sons to take the fuse out of any bomb thrown.

Yet Another Step

MARTIN GABLER—As the people of God assemble today and they sing out praises and worship and they hear the powerful Word of God taught, may they realize it is time to take yet another step. May each one take a step more in the direction the Lord has them headed in within their bent, their calling, their purpose. This is the season for stepping up to the next level of purpose and function in the Kingdom of God. Prov.3:5-6, Amp — “Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.  6  In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].”

November is for Restoration

MARTY GABLER—November is for restoration. It is for a season of Father God restoring that which was lost and that which was taken. He is restoring lost memories that are precious and those which are facilitating. Father is mercifully restoring youth and strength that was taken by disease and infirmity and even taken by our abuse of our bodies in earlier years. He is restoring cherished relationships and partnerships for His Kingdom purposes. Not only does restoration in the Bible mean returning things to their previous state but it also implies making them better than before and causing them to be more than before.  Joel 2:25,NASB—“Then I will compensate you for the years That the swarming locust has eaten, The creeping locust, the stripping locust, and the gnawing locust…”  Isa.61:7,NASB—“Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, And instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land, Everlasting joy will be theirs.”
