Dreams and Insight for Deliverance

Kathy Gabler—I urge you to pay attention to your dreams.  I believe there is a release of dreams right now to bring insight for deliverance from generational pitfalls. I recently had a dream about a wolf, the devourer of finance and resource trying to get into my house.  There were family members from more than one generation in my dream needing to deal with the devourer.  Another dreamer mentioned she had just this week dreamed of her great-grandmother and two nights later her grandmother.  Both dreams were confrontations with the pressures of expectations and paradigms of those former generations.  God can wonderfully use dreams to bring healing to our generations and prosper our souls and our futures.

Confidence in the Will of God

Marty Gabler—As the people of God assemble today may their confidence in God and His will be renewed as they face every trial and discouragement. May our Lord help them endure and accomplish all that He has designed for them to walk in. Hebrews 10:35-36,Amp—“Do not, therefore, fling away your [fearless] confidence, for it has a glorious and great reward. 36 For you have need of patient endurance [to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising], so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised.”

The Contender

Marty —The Contender Has Met Darkness Head-On.  The soaking-worship at Grace Church Willis began at 6:30p.m. on a Wednesday night. Melissa stepped up to the mic as the instruments began playing and she began to spontaneously worship Jesus. Pastor Bill, who was scheduled to teach on healing that night just laid down on the floor. About 6:55p.m. Kathy and I walked into the auditorium. We walked down to the third row under a heavy presence of the Holy Spirit.
I began walking, worshipping and interceding along the right wall. After a while I was leaning on the wall. A few minutes later, I was holding myself up with one hand on the wall and the other hand on a chair back. That wasn’t working so I knelt at the chair.
About half-way through the evening I and several others began intermittently releasing a yell as we were stirred and touched by the Holy Spirit in the midst of holy worship. It was at this point that Melissa stepped back from the mic and the instruments began to play a new song. The music began to gently swell and recede in a most beautiful way. (As we compared notes after the meeting, we discovered that several of us had heard a keyboard though no one was at the keyboard.)
As the music began to swell I had a vision like I have never had. I saw gently-rolling hills that seemed to be alive. Over the closest hill came a great hoard of powerful horses with flaring nostrils and great flowing manes. On their backs were fierce warriors who stood in the stirrups with hands fast upon their reins and leaning forward, alongside the horses necks. They seemed to be speaking to the horses. The warriors’ long hair flowed in the wind as did the horses’ manes. While they listened, the horses eyes were focused intently upon what was ahead.
The view was panoramic. On the far right were the horses and riders. There didn’t seem to be any ground that was not being covered with horses hooves. There didn’t seem to be any spaces between the horses. Their great strides were covering an amazing amount of ground with each gallop.
Suddenly, my attention was drawn to the left side of the panorama. Up from behind a rock a dark, startled creature popped up and began staring at the flowing tide coming down upon him. A ways over from this creature, another popped up from behind a bush and yet another popped up from behind a small knoll, all terrified at what was soon and inevitably going to happen. At this point, 2K 6:16 “more are those who are with us than those who are with them” came to mind. Then, the advancing tide of horses and warriors rolled over the creatures as though they were nothing before their fierce and focused momentum.
Just moments after I had seen the vision Melissa, without knowing what I had seen, stepped back to the mic and began to sing, “He is The Great Contender and He has met darkness head-on tonight.” Jehovah-Sabaoth, Lord of Hosts, is contending with those who oppose His purposes.
Psa 2:1  “Why the big noise, nations? Why the mean plots, peoples? 2  Earth-leaders push for position, Demagogues and delegates meet for summit talks, The God-deniers, the Messiah-defiers: 3  “Let’s get free of God! Cast loose from Messiah!” 4  Heaven-throned God breaks out laughing. At first he’s amused at their presumption; 5  Then he gets good and angry. Furiously, he shuts them up: 6  “Don’t you know there’s a King in Zion? A coronation banquet Is spread for him on the holy summit.” 7  Let me tell you what GOD said next. He said, “You’re my son, And today is your birthday. 8  What do you want? Name it: Nations as a present? continents as a prize? 9  You can command them all to dance for you, Or throw them out with tomorrow’s trash.” 10  So, rebel-kings, use your heads; Upstart-judges, learn your lesson: 11  Worship GOD in adoring embrace, Celebrate in trembling awe. 12  Kiss Messiah! Your very lives are in danger, you know; His anger is about to explode, But if you make a run for God–you won’t regret it!” (Msg)
We are not helpless and ineffective before the opposition of darkness. Darkness is not the insurmountable, indefatigable force its propaganda is meant to conjure up.

To be Strengthened by Might by His Spirit

Melissa Gabler — Personal Responsibility for the Prophetic Lifestyle: 1.) Read the Bible.  Reading the Bible keeps you familiar with God’s ways. God highlights and pinpoints scriptures for wisdom, action, prayer, declaration, etc.  2.) Pray… specifically in tongues. It keeps your eyes and ears open.  Ephesians 3:16, 20-21- “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;  Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”  Praying in tongues charges our spirit man.  The spirit (inner man) needs to be charged way more than the soul does.  Praying in tongues brings that charge which in turn brings clarity. “Your soul drinks in what your ears and eyes and emotions are exposed to all day.  The only way you can renew your mind and take dominion over the demonic assault on your feelings and thoughts is to be filled with the Spirit!” (Lance Wallnau).

We Are Not Alone

KATHY GABLER–The truth is we are not alone, nor are we powerless.  In 2Chronicles 20, God’s people did not know what to do, so they looked to the Lord, (vs.12).  Then in verse 14:  Then the Spirit of the Lord in their midst came upon Jahaziel and He said not to fear nor be terrified of the face of this huge enemy. It is God’s war. Go after them but you won’t have to lift a hand in this battle; just stand and watch GOD’s saving work for you take shape. Don’t be afraid, don’t waver. March out boldly for GOD is with you.  Then they knelt down bowing their faces to the ground worshiping GOD.  Some stood to their feet to praise GOD, and they praised at the top of their lungs! As they were leaving, Jehoshaphat stood up and said, “Believe firmly in GOD, your God, and your lives will be firm! Believe in your prophets and you’ll come out on top!” .

October is for Putting Things Behind Us

Marty—October is for putting things behind us. Just like we are in the tenth month of the year and the winter of this year is already behind us and the spring of this year is already behind us and the summer of this year is already behind us, we are putting disappointments, failures and lost opportunities behind us. We are not going to continue looking back at the past but turn around and face the future with its possibilities and its hopes.  Isaiah 43:18-19,GW—Forget what happened in the past, and do not dwell on events from long ago.  19   I am going to do something new.  It is already happening. Don’t you recognize it? I will clear a way in the desert. I will make rivers on dry land.”   Isa.14:27—“The LORD of Hosts has purposed, and who can thwart Him? His hand is outstretched, so who can turn it back?”   Isa.46:10—“Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:”

Don’t Lean on Your Own Understanding

MELISSA GABLER–Continuing on thoughts from Prov.3, we are about to be exposed to things we don’t have a reference for. So it’s time to prepare, and here are ways to do that: 1) Prov. 3:5-8 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil. *It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones.” This is the antidote to rationalism which is based in our own understanding. Take note that not leaning on our own understanding and wisdom brings health (see v. 8 above)! Get in the word and trust the Holy Spirit to reveal what you need to know.
2) Isaiah 11:1-2 is about Jesus and what He operated in. We need to operate in these like Jesus did, so ask for these daily: Spirit of the sovereign Lord, wisdom, knowledge, counsel, might, understanding and the fear of the Lord.
3) Have a handful of go-to Scriptures on hand if you don’t already. These may shift with the season you’re in.

4) Be aware of doubt, unbelief, skepticism and rationalism in your life. Catch it and counter it with truth in the word as the Holy Spirit leads.
5) Watch out for materialism and self-focus.  They are bait to draw you into a fruitless and dark place.
6) Pay attention to your entertainment choices. There is a lot of evil infiltrating the airwaves, and what we allow to entertain us is what we are giving access to our lives and household.
7) Consider fasting … more.
8) Take time to worship. Get past the song, and worship the One Who is worthy!
9) Watch your confession.  What is coming out of your mouth? Is it life or agreement with death?
10) Lastly, Pray. In. Tongues.
