Joy in Our Labors

The time of sorrow and lamenting in labor is past for many of God’s people  (whosever will) in this season. Eph.2:10,Amp—“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].”  ICor.15:58,Amp—“Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord [always doing your best and doing more than is needed], being continually aware that your labor [even to the point of exhaustion] in the Lord is not futile nor wasted [it is never without purpose].”  Ps.92:4,Amp—“For You, O Lord, have made me glad by Your works; At the works of Your hands I joyfully sing.”

It is the will of Jehovah God that His people find joy in their labors. “Blessed is everyone who fears and worships the Lord… For you shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; happy shall you be and it shall be well with you.”(Ps128:1-2) People of God will inherit the labors of other nations. “He brought forth His people with joy…and gave them the lands of the nations and they reaped the fruits of those peoples’ labor, that they might observe His statutes.” (Ps.105:43-45) The people of God are not for the shame of His embarrassment but are for the praise of His glory. (Isa.60:21; Eph1:12) Labor with wisdom and invest with wisdom.
