Anticipation Nation
I know that the Bible says that we are a nation of kings and priests but I believe that, from consideration of the assurances in holy Scripture,
we could also accurately say that we are an Anticipation Nation. We can anticipate (1) seeing the direction of the Lord for our lives and our nation; (2) seeing things that are tending toward harm and/or interference (in our families, churches, jobs and nation) so they might be averted; (3) seeing blessings and advantages that are available to us through the promises and purposes of God Almighty; and (4) seeing strategy and how to pray for people we are concerned for. (The fifth excerpt from Marty’s article “Anticipation Nation”)
