Clear The Toxins
Words or deeds that contradict God’s will infect an atmosphere and become part of the power of the air. The prince of the power of the air (Eph. 2:2) strives to do damage with the creative forces that men release and manifest in the earth. Countering clears the toxins from an atmosphere as surely as the contradictions toxify it. Let’s break this down. You can hear a statement on TV saying, “The polls show Candidate “C” is leading and headed for the White House.” We can feel disgust and gripe and allow that political agenda to be considered as a shoo- in, thereby leaving despair and despondency in the atmosphere that takes the fight out of others or confirms thoughts of not voting or starts a crop of fear that will bear fruit for generations! Or, we can take action and counter with a proclamation, “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in this nation, Lord,” or “Lord, let discernment and wisdom paralyze media manipulation in America today.” Our agreement with His will on earth gives God legal access to take action.
