Back-handed Accusations

HandKnockDoor(Kathy G.) The reason the Father/son relationship is pivotal is because that relationship provides what every son needs to function effectually in their lifetime.  These function essentials are spelled out in Romans 8– 1) the strength of identity, 2) the empowerment of affirmation and 3) the protection of boundaries built into relationship.   Our adversary knows this and consistently targets the Father/Son relationship and attempts to make you feel de-sonned or de-daughtered.  Every temptation that the devil threw at Old Testament Adam in the garden and then at New Testament Adam in the wilderness was an attempt to sabotage the Father/Son relationship.  He used doubt to knock on the door of their minds and then demanded they take action to prove him wrong.  The doubts were back-handed accusations concerning God’s motive or commitment or planning.  The doubts and accusation were aimed at causing friction and distrust between Father and son.
