The Holy Spirit is Unlimited

KATHY—The Holy Spirit has unlimited ways to communicate with us when He is transferring God-glimpses or God-insights. For example, a couple of years ago, I kept seeing the number 1111.  It got my attention so frequently that I could not help but wonder why.  For months I noticed it everywhere, on TV, billboards, addresses, digital clocks, in a dream, on a license plate, etc.  So I pursued an understanding of its significance.  At first, I considered that it might be a time or date, but that never jelled.  I asked the Lord for wisdom.  His wisdom is defined in Strong’s Concordance as sage advice, the act of interpreting dreams and the ability to discover the meaning of a mysterious number or vision. In answer to my request, a thought I’d not had came to me and sent me on a search of the eleventh chapter of every book of the Bible, and I found the answer in Luke 11:11, “Now suppose one of you fathers is asked by his son for a fish; he will not give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?” Suddenly I understood the Lord was letting me know that particular scripture was a telegram for me.  He was reminding me that He is my Father and He knows my heart’s desire and petitions.  Beyond that He was letting me know that He will answer my long-term petitions and His answers will not be a disappointment!  So that 11:11 was an awesome communication from my Father that lifted my head and heart.

Fruitful All Year

As the people of God assemble today, may they be infused with Holy Spirit power to be fruitful all the year ahead.  May vision and empowerment come to each one.  I pray that the fruit our Lord gives you and your church this year will be like the net the disciples had to call for help to draw in.  May there be such a bounty that the net would be near bursting with the catch. May your net be strong and hold.  “So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net to land, full of large fish, 153 of them; and[though] there were so many of them, the net was not torn.” (Jn.21:11, Amp)

That Certain Sound

If the trumpet not sound certain….  How will the coming generation know that it is possible to expect the victories of the Lord in their generation if the present generation sound woes and bemoan times gone past? “If the war bugle gives an uncertain (indistinct) call, who will prepare for battle?” (1Co.14:8)  But we will shout unto the Lord for the victories He is bringing upon us. In Josh.6 the victorious shout of the people causes insurmountable walls to tumble down. God turned the halting, struggling steps of four lepers into the sound of chariots, horses and a great army (2K. 7:6).  So the Syrians arose and fled (v.7) and left their tents, horses, donkeys and the whole camp of provisions.

HOLD

MELISSA—Recently on a Sunday morning I was getting ready for church and asked the Lord what I needed to pray over the service that day and I clearly heard, “Prepare us for the onslaught.” I instantly had a sense that there are challenges coming to those of us that have been in the church for a while, challenges that will try to knock us off of our foundation in Christ. I literally heard the question being asked, “Is what I have believed my whole life even true?” I shared this with those in my Pastor’s office before service. During worship Pastor asked me to share this and then he followed up with having the congregation take hands all across the room. He proceeded to say, “Hold. Hold. Hold,” and then he said,  “This is the stance we have to take in the days ahead.” This could not have been more accurate instruction. Within the following weeks lives began to erupt like a volcano. There was a moment in the midst of it all I was reminded of what I’d heard and realized I’d thought it was going to come from outside, but it started from the inside first. My Pastor’s words started ringing in my head, “HOLD.” This instruction brought peace and stability.

Holy Spirit and Communication

KATHY—The meaning of communication istransferring information or passing along meaning”.  Communication is complete when that information or meaning is received and understood.  One dictionary put it like this, “A line of communication connects people and places to purpose and function.”  The Holy Spirit has unlimited ways to communicate with us.  When He is transferring God-glimpses or God-insights or God-moments or God-downloads or God-deposits or God-discoveries, He may use dreams or visions or prophecies or events or experiences or people, etc.  It might be just a nuance, a momentary feeling or a passing thought that signals us to be God-aware because there’s communication incoming.  Or, we can be prompted from a memory or a conversation or the words of a song or an ad in a magazine or a number on a door!  I’m talking about when unique details ping our radar and they are meant to get our attention so we’ll look for incoming insight.

Wilderness Experience

MARTIN–It’s OK to take a wilderness experience into the promised land but it’s not OK to take a wilderness heart into promise. (Just ask Achan; Judges Chapter 7.) What we don’t leave in the wilderness, trips us up in the promise. What we don’t get over today, overcomes us tomorrow!

War in the Atmosphere

MELISSA–There is a war in the atmosphere over our nation. It’s like a virus that causes complete irrationality brought on by the stubborn refusal to take personal responsibility. This “virus” was released by an evil agenda to build a one-world dictatorship in the “land of the free and the home of the brave”! How? By coddling, and stroking the broken. By wooing them with band-aids, and promising them “Kool-aid”. Instead of teaching people they don’t have to be a victim of their circumstances, this “virus” took advantage of their emotional state for it’s own selfish, ungodly gain. Well, guess what, “There shall be no end to the increase of His government and of peace, [He shall rule] on the throne of David and over His Kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from that time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.” (Isaiah 9:7 AMP) It’s happening folks!

Life’s Battles

KATHY—Life’s battles do not intensify just because the devil gets mad or has a personal grudge.  No, the battle heats up by reason of the needed outcome.  As surely as heat can determine the strength of a weld, so does the intensity of battle establish the strength and longevity of the victory.  The vehemence of battle welds the outcome in undeniable purpose rather than just leaving us with fragmented memories of war. Heat is one of the components of long-term victory and intense battle yields intensely awesome results!

Through Walls of Opposition

As the people of God assemble today, may the Lord walk through walls of opposition, walls of impossibility, walls individuals have built between themselves and other members of the body of Christ. May He miraculously walk through every barrier into our midst today so that He might release in us and through us His peace, gifts and redemptive power.  “That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said.” (Jn.20:19, NLT)

Observe the Tide or Turn the Tide

MARTY—We live in this time in history because God ordained it so and He also ordained the days to come for His Name’s sake (Ps23:3; 106:8; Ex9:16; 1Jn2:12) It is not our purpose in living to simply observe “the tide” of circumstances but to turn the tide. We do not live so we might observe history taking place but so we might make history.  Ps.106:8,Amp—“Nevertheless He saved them for His name’s sake, That He might make His [supreme] power known.”  Ex.9:16,Amp—“But indeed for this very reason I have allowed you to live, in order to show you My power and in order that My name may be proclaimed throughout all the earth.”  Ps.145:10b-12,Amp—“… Your godly ones will bless You. 11 They shall speak of the glory of Your Kingdom And talk of Your power, 12 To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts And the glorious majesty of Your kingdom.”

Massive Amounts of Help

MELISSA — By the end of this year we will realize we have massive amounts of help from a God-created angelic company.  It’s time to be aware that God has created an angelic army doing His will on this earth right now.  It’s time we realized we are intended to network with them because they know our destiny and it is their job to help us get there.  Just like Elisha’s servant in 2 Kings 6, it is time for our eyes to be opened to this partnership God intended.  At the end of the year we will look back in amazement at what He has done and where we are. So, go ahead and ANTICIPATE the inevitable, supernatural intervention of God!

Obedience and Sabotage

KATHY–We dare not expose our obediences to sabotage with our doubt and unbelief. I mean, even after the fact, we can go away analyzing and criticizing and speculating for months about its success to the point of concluding it was a failure or worthless effort. Unfortunately, the harvest crop can be tall and to the point of the ears forming or being almost complete, but our conclusions were all the thief needed to kill, steal and destroy. It takes as much trust with the after effects as it does to obey in the beginning, so let’s rest in the confidence that He will always be Lord of the harvest.

Though You Walk in the Midst of Trouble

Though you walk in the midst of trouble, may the Lord revive you; May He stretch forth His hand against the wrath of your enemies, And may His right hand save you. The Lord will accomplish what concerns you. [***Declare out loud that the Lord will accomplish what concerns you***] Your lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. [Declare out loud that the Lord will not forsake the works of His hands] (Taken from Ps 138:7-8)

Empty Tomb as Example

MELISSA—The Man Jesus Who walked out of that tomb did it as an example for all of us as how life should be from then on and there is so much more to resurrection life than walking out of the grave. That sounds crazy because that’s the biggest thing we can think of on earth but it’s bigger than we can comprehend with our finite minds. We weren’t built to hang on and hope for the best. We were made to operate in resurrection life until life on earth is as it is in heaven and we usher the King into the new earth He is worthy of. What a time to be alive. I’m thankful we all get to live this resurrection life together!

Soul-Conflicts

KATHY — Soul-conflicts cause ulcers rather than faith. An “ulcer of the soul” is inflammation like agitation, offense, irritation, anger, fear, etc. A wound of the soul is from our history or experience. Neither of those is the starting place for effectual prayer because “ulcers” and wounds can keep us from seeing from God’s perspective. A timely example is that it cripples our faith to pray for our nation if we think God will not interrupt hell’s assignments against our nation. Since 2024 is part of our watch, we can anticipate God’s intervention in our nation this year as we pray and neutralize contradictions that influence daily.

Distractions and Differences Not Divide

As the people of God assemble today may their distractions and differences divide not at all. But may each one yield to the Builder’s Hand that He might lay each lively stone into the place where they might best serve His purposes in the body of Christ, being cemented together by the Word and the Holy Spirit and stabilized on the only Rock that can hold the building. “In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you yourselves also are being built up [into this structure] with the rest, to form a fixed abode (dwelling place) of God in (by, through) the Spirit.” (Eph.2:22, Amp; also 1Pe.2:5)

Our Eternal Constant

MARTY–We have an Eternal Constant: I am the Lord, I change not. (Mal 3:6)

Take Thoughts Captive

MELISSA—We can also participate in resurrection life by taking thoughts captive (2 Cor. 10:5) which lead us down roads of fear, stress or doubt. Where are we focused? Grab the anxiety-ridden thoughts and speak resurrection life over them until your focus shifts.

Anticipation of God’s Kingdom Power

KATHY—Years ago some minister friends were imprisoned on a mission to India. We went to a multi-church gathering to pray for them.  During the intercession, Marty stood and prophesied that they would be released in three days and they were.  One of those pastors told his congregation when he got home, “I don’t know if Marty heard God’s plan or if God did it because Marty said it.”  Whether it was a realization of Father’s plan in advance or a son with a foretaste of his Father’s authority and backing, the obvious thing is that Anticipation of Kingdom Power thrives within the Father-son relationship and leads to Participation and Demonstration of God’s will in the earth.

Righteousness and Unrighteousness

MARTY—There are a lot of religious people spending a lot of time wondering why there is so much unrest in our society and why Christ and His purposes and His people are so opposed, even hated. Righteousness troubles the unrighteous. Any time there is unrighteousness on the scene and the light of righteousness is exposed, unrighteousness will be troubled and when troubled, will react. There is no fellowship between righteousness and unrighteousness (2Cor.6:14), between light and darkness. We cannot adjust the Word and principles of God so that everyone who comes among us is comfortable.

Participate in Resurrection Life

MELISSA—Another way to participate in resurrection life is to speak what the Holy Spirit is telling you. This isn’t about having a microphone at church, this is about daily life. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.” (Proverbs 18:21) Jesus is a perfect example of how powerful words are. We have that same power in us and it’s time to shift atmospheres with our words.

Where Anticipation is Sabotaged

KATHY—The Father-son relationship is where Anticipation is often sabotaged.  If all we can see in the mirror is who we are now or any given moment, instead of who we were born to be, there is no anticipation because we are not thinking like our Father.  (“As a man continues to think in his heart, so is he”, Prov.23:7)  If we see ourselves as “only human” or not worthy or capable to act in our Father’s authority and power, that roots back to relationship and sonship issues.  If we have to rebuild our sense of covenant every time that doubt or condemnation or failure knocks on our door, we won’t come close to Anticipation or God-outcomes.
