SPEAKING OF FREEDOM

KATHY—Speaking of FREEDOM…   John 8:32  “You will know the truth, and THE TRUTH WILL MAKE YOU FREE.”  We need truth that sets us free to be, free to be what we were born to be so that our lives glorify our God.  We must come to freedom that gets us past some old limitations, dead ends and road blocks and cycles in our lives.

KEEP STANDING IN FREEDOM

If it were not possible to keep standing in freedom, our Lord would not have commanded us in His Word to do just that. He does not want us to be captive to any degree of slavery. We have been set free to enjoy freedom within the auspices of His character and redemptive purposes. Living our lives under the wisdom and direction of the Word of God leads us in the liberty of sons/daughters who know their Father desires nothing less than the richness of that purchased freedom. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ Who has brought us to liberty that we may glorify Him who purchased it.  ”Plant your feet firmly therefore within the freedom that Christ has won for us, and do not let yourselves be caught again in the shackles of slavery.” (Gal.5:1, Phillips)

Bolster the Prophetic Lifstyle

Melissa — How do we bolster the Prophetic Lifestyle? 1. Acknowledge there is an unseen realm and you were made for this because the One Who created you built the capacity in you for this lifestyle. 2. pray in tongues – Ephesians 3:16—“May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality].”  Praying in tongues strengthens your inner self/spirit so that you can decipher and see the unseen. 1 Corinthians 14:4a—“One who speaks in a tongue edifies himself.”  It takes edifying ourselves, by building up our spirit, to keep human nature from taking the driver’s seat. Here is the current relevance for this line of thought. In this year, we are currently dealing with the epic fail of human nature/soul in our nation.  The chaos is being fueled and driven by the unseen realm and human nature is completely ignorant of it. This current status tells me we are at the climax of a lifetime.  I’m not speaking of the return of Christ, I’m talking about the Bride of Christ becoming what God planned for her to be. God’s original intent is in effect. It takes an acquaintance with the unseen to know that and to be a part of it.

God and Gates

KATHY — Sometimes a gate God builds is not a welcomed sight.  It looks like a risk to us or a scary unknown.  We feel like we have the option to decide to just stay safely within our fence and familiar boundaries. The problem is that if we ignore the gates, we are locking ourselves into tradition just like the Pharisees.  We rarely see ourselves as Pharisees, but we too build personal traditions of men through the way we personally process instruction or the way we establish our own priorities or the way we come to our personal conclusions.  Our thought processes and priorities and conclusions are filters that can literally keep us from hearing what God is saying and thereby keep us refusing to acknowledge the Holy Spirit’s direction in our daily life.  So, “you make the word of God of none effect through your tradition, (KJV).  And you ignore God’s commands in order to follow your own teaching. “(CEV) Mark 7:13

What Yahweh Will Perform

As the people of God assemble today may they be looking around, not to see who is in attendance or who is absent but to see what wondrous act Yahweh will perform next in someone’s spirit or someone’s body or someone’s soul. “Now watch as the Lord does great miracles.” (1Sam.12:16, TLB)

Going out Weeping, Coming in With Joy

May you soon arrive at destinations that you have labored months or years to reach. May you get to experience the fulfillment of the completion of a commitment or a project. May you get to effectively apply training and may it profit you. Ps.126:5-6,Amp—“So those who planted their crops in despair will shout “Yes!” at the harvest, So those who went off with heavy hearts will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing.”

Unresolved Anger Undermines Joy

KATHY—Unresolved anger can become a driving force, a passion, an energy that can seem good and productive, while it undermines like termites until the core of character, integrity, hope and joy of life is eaten away.  Unresolved anger can become depression, fear, sickness and even a pattern of failure.  I know a young lady whose anger at criticism and injustice as a child kept her grieving.  She became a prisoner of her focus.  Because she could not take her eyes off of her victimization, she remained a victim, actually positioning herself for more criticism and injustice.  Resolving her anger was the release from the pattern.
