To Know First

Melissa Gabler—Here’s what you need to know first and foremost: YOU are important, YOU have a piece that the rest of us need, YOU have a gift and skill combo no one else has, YOU will live and not die, YOU are created for His glory, and all of these things are His original intent for you now and in the days to come! Now that that is in the atmosphere, let’s talk about life in the season ahead.

Quiet Confidence in God

Kathy Gabler—In the last two months, I have been in several conversations with upset and anxious people. Hearing their circumstances makes me understand their distress, but mid-conversation I hear again the instructions I heard that morning to “stay still” and “stay thankful”. I want to say to them, “I know it is a challenge when you are anxious and “what-ifs” are erupting in your thoughts and shooting holes in every hope that raises its head, but find the quiet stillness of confidence in God. Then be thankful that opens the door to Him and He is already on the doorstep.”

Free of Cycles, Issues and Fears

Melissa Gabler— God is putting His finger on things that must be dealt with right now in individual’s lives. This is a tremendous opportunity to be free of cycles, issues and fears that have held you and your family captive. I know there are those reading this right now that have had recent revelations of personal bondage that the Lord is unlocking. He’s opening eyes and restoring lives for, dare I say, such a time as this! So, take rest in knowing you don’t have to have it all figured out and on track before you go to bed tonight. Just simply start with realizing that He is the One that restores your soul and leads you in paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake (Ps. 23).  It’s about that, His Name’s sake, inch-by-inch for His Name’s sake.

The King Cannot be Brought Down

Marty Gabler–As the people of God assemble today may they look unto the hills from whence cometh their help and take hope that the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is high and lifted up and He cannot be brought down to mere human limitations or emotions. May they worship El Elyon, Lord of Heaven and Earth, Who is great and above all men and all circumstances and is, therefore, able to lift His children from the depths of hopeless entanglements. Ps. 57:2—“I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills His purpose for me.” (Cf.Ps.97:9)

The Spirit of God Working Through You

Marty Gabler—May the list of people grow who benefit because of the Word and Spirit of God that is at work in you and through you.  “But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.” (Acts 1:8, Amp)

Getting Ready for What Lies Ahead

Melissa Gabler—I feel something big churning as of late. I believe this discernment is about getting ready for what lies ahead in the remainder of the year.  I believe that the latter part of this year is very significant to how we enter the coming year. As I write this I see a picture of the American flag being raised by brave Marines at Iwo Jima during World War II. In researching this battle this statement stuck out, “The battle was won by the inch-by-inch tenacity of the foot soldier,” (Iwojima com).  The coming months will be won “by the inch-by-inch tenacity of the foot soldier,” as we battle right now. For those that struggle with an all-or-nothing drive, (like me) the statement “inch-by-inch tenacity” can be almost devastating. I really prefer a battle being done in a one-glorious-moment tenacity! Here’s the thing with the remainder of this year, the inch-by-inch is going to lead to many glorious moments in the coming year.

Worked Out Through Process

KATHY GABLER—Worked Out Through Process — If we prepare for purpose by yielding to His “reasoning together,” there is manifestation and fulfillment. Purpose has too many facets to fit in a single jump anyway. Some of its many facets are seasons, expressions, maturing and relationship with people, places and things.  A prophetic word to a nine year old that they will be a missionary cannot be limited to their nine-year-old understanding and definitions, nor to their parent’s traditional, experiential definition, nor to their beliefs and misbeliefs up to that moment. Their call might not be on the church mountain but a mission to the business, government, education or medical mountain.  Like working out our salvation, purpose is worked out through a process of opportunity by opportunity, obedience by obedience, insight by insight and year by year.

When Considering the Coming Generation

Marty Gabler–When considering the coming generation who have set their hearts on the Lord, instead of fearfully asking:  What is going to happen to Daniel, or to Joseph or to David?  Perhaps we should be expectantly asking:  What is going to happen to Babylon, Egypt and Goliath? ”Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me!  We are for signs and wonders in Israel  From the Lord of hosts,  Who dwells in Mount Zion.” (Isa.8:18, NKJV)
