You Crown the Year

MELISSA GABLER — “You crown the year with your bounty, and your paths overflow.” (Ps. 65:11 AMP) “Crown” here is the Hebrew word “atar”. It means to encircle for protection. So, we really are tiptoeing into something big this year and we are protected as we approach our reveal. And let’s just top it off, “Your paths overflow” says this year is marked with abundance. The biggest fight we have at this point is truly believing our God is as good as He really is!

Identity, Affirmation and Boundaries

KATHY GABLER—None of us outgrow the need for identity, affirmation or boundaries.  If  they are  met, they help us to be healthy mentally, emotionally, physically and relationally.  If they are not met, they set us up for sabotage.  Since none of us had a perfect family life growing up, we have all been sabotaged to some degree and had conflicts with self-image that left our self-worth in doubt, or vice versa.  And we have all faced embarrassment or failure regarding our self-government.  So, it is no private scar since everyone’s mirror (self-image) gets whacked in life.  Sometimes it is even our own doing; but how we respond after the fact is the crucial matter.  If we continue to only look at a cracked reflection, a marred, fragmented person; that will keep us from agreeing with the way God sees us and keep us from lining up with God’s intentions for our life and future.

Admonish One Another

MARTY GABLER—As the people of God assemble today, may they habitually admonish and encourage one another concerning the faithfulness of God in these days and may they have a heart to habitually assemble so that others may be edified.  “Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching.” (Heb.10:25, Amp)

Trust is a Principle of the Kingdom

Melissa Gabler–Trust is a principle of the Kingdom. God knew what He was doing when He created it. It’s life bearing, abundant life bearing. How beautiful it is that the principles of God are set in place to provide the John 10:10 abundant life for all who live them. He gave us a map for life. Check this out, Psalm 84:12 (AMP) “O Lord of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation].” Yes, that is beautiful. But check out the rest of Psalm 84. It literally lines out what a life looks like that trusts God. Vs. 4 “Blessed and greatly favored are those who dwell in Your house and Your presence; They will be singing Your praises all the day long. Selah.” Blessing and favor follow those who trust. Vs. 6 “Passing through the Valley of Weeping (Baca), they make it a place of springs; The early rain also covers it with blessings.”

Weapons Within

KATHY GABLER—WEAPONS FORMED WITHIN:  Realizing that trouble is not always just a common venture of life, but rather a customized weapon, can be the first challenge in the war of embracing promise.  It is easy for pain and problems to demand our focus and become a pattern and a norm, so it is essential that we realize our patterns and norms themselves can be weapons formed against us.  Our own life issues can snare us over and over as they cycle through our lifetime.  It is essential that we recognize weapons so we can make conscious efforts to defuse them.

From Burdened To Rest

MARTY GABLER—Moving From Burdened To Rest—Rest is not giving up and flopping down on the ground. And after kicking and screaming until we are worn out, then lying in a puddle of tears while God, in bountiful pity, puts all the puzzle pieces in place just as we prefer them. “Rest” is not sitting down and doing nothing. After recent disappointing events in this nation, it is not time to pray less or stop praying. We must not stop assembling ourselves, must not stop giving, must not stop shining. It is time to pray more, assemble ourselves more, give more and shine more. “Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!” (Isa.60:1) “Rest” is responsibly acting in the authority we have been given; our rest is that “I know (perceive, have knowledge of, and am acquainted with) Him Whom I have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on), and I am [positively] persuaded that He is able to guard and keep that which has been entrusted to me and which I have committed [to Him] until that day. (2Tim.1:12) Rest is not inactivity but activity couched in a holy confidence in spite of circumstances.  “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.” (Matt.11:28)

Things we Have Lived With as “Normal”

MELISSA GABLER—Demon doctrines have been around for a very long time and most of it we have just lived with as normal. A lot of it gets passed down from generation to generation through others’ experience and old wives tales. The intention behind all of this is to get us to embrace the mixture as truth so it can affect our lives, health, family, finances, etc. and take us out. The reason why we are on the enemy’s hit list is because the evil ones want to rule earth and keep God’s plan of Kingdom dominion from happening. God’s plan is for Kingdom dominion to happen through us and that is why the fight and opposition is so fierce – ALL. THE. TIME. This whole life that we have is about God’s glory and His purposes, “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

Knowing God Will Have the Last Word

KATHY GABLER—Our God said  that  He would give us peace, the unshakeable knowing that God will have the last word on every matter!   Peace is the mark of a mature son of God.  It is not only possible to view every struggle and opposition in life as the next advance, the next opportunity to take spoils and prosper, it glorifies God to do so!  We can put on our Ephesians 6 boots of peace daily.  We can sleep in those boots and get up ready to walk over every obstacle!

Leave Different

MARTY GABLER—As the people of God assemble today, may people leave different than they came. As they leave the meeting, may they say, “I will never be the same again because of the power of the risen Christ that has changed me”.   “He jumped to his feet and walked. The man went into the Temple with them, walking back and forth, dancing and praising God. Everybody there saw him walking around and praising God. They recognized him as the one who sat begging at the Temple’s Gate Beautiful and rubbed their eyes, astonished, scarcely believing what they were seeing.” (Acts 3:8-10, Msg)
