Where Anticipation is Often Sabotaged
KATHY GABLER—The Father-son relationship is where anticipation is often sabotaged. If all we can see in the mirror is who we are now or any given moment, instead of who we were born to be, there is no anticipation because we are not thinking like our Father. (“As a man continues to think in his heart, so is he”, Prov.23:7) If we see ourselves as “only human” or not worthy or capable to act in our Father’s authority and power, that roots back to relationship and sonship issues. If we have to rebuild our sense of covenant every time that doubt or condemnation or failure knocks on our door, we won’t come close to anticipation or God-outcomes.
