A Bible Formula
If there is a formula anywhere in the Bible, here is one: Jer 33:3 ‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ It appears that Israel, at this point, has nothing to look forward to but annihilation. But God gives Jeremiah the solution: call unto me. The formula seems to be: (1) call and (2) I will tell you great and mighty things which you do not know. We really do need to know what we do not know, so we really do need to call. What is not known at this point in time will stop the destruction when it does become known.
