“Sing to the Lord a new song” (Ps.96:1). Heb.: “something fresh, a new thing.” It is a song of spontaneity and delight. It may be something that has come to you after having passed thru a difficult time of testing. You are the only one who can sing that new song to God because you are the only one who truly knows what God means to you. “Sing… with gratitude in your hearts to God” (Col.3:16)

Mourning and Comfort
“Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be drawn into the Lord’s comfort.” (Matt.5:4) It seems illogical that anyone would not welcome comfort. But comfort requires change and change is not always welcomed. As hard as grief is, change is sometimes harder. But wounds do not heal unless we receive comfort.—Kathy Gabler
What’s Your Method?
My wife calls me “the methodist” because she says I have a method for everything. John & Charles Wesley had a method. That’s why people started calling them “Methodists.” Their method? Prayer & Bible reading lead to sanctification. I don’t mind being called a methodist after all.
Look With Expectancy
As the people of God assemble today may they join hands and hearts and look toward the remainder of the year with expectancy for the purposes of the Lord in each other and the victorious intervention of the Lord in their behalf. “Paul, Silvanus (Silas), and Timothy, to the assembly (church) of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah): Grace (spiritual blessing and divine favor) to you and [heart] peace.” (1Thess.1:1, Amp)
Deciding Not to Stop and Replay
Jesus’ death, burial, resurrection and ascension was for our salvation. That 
salvation includes the power to overcome any obstacle to your life and purpose. The fact that He came to die for you proves that you have value. That’s your trump, the undeniable proof that you have value and that will forever declare your worth! The challenge is figuring out how to get your emotions to agree with that truth so that you don’t bottom-out if someone treats you as if you don’t have worth. If someone’s selfishness or pride or ignorance or prejudice or stupidity causes them to look at anybody as worthless, that is their problem. It is a lie to believe someone else’s problem can make you worthless. The challenge here is to find a way that their problem has no influence over our emotions. If we can learn to leave those offending moments in life by deciding not to stop and replay them, we can walk away in the confidence that we can trust God to deal with people and their issues while we rest in the truth that our self-worth isn’t even at risk.—Kathy Gabler
Call Unto Me
In a voice of command God said, “Call unto me.” God is not without purpose, not without a plan; but there are times when He has been without someone to stand in the gap calling upon Him to move power and authority from heaven into earth. (Eze.22:30) Calling unto God in alignment with His plan and purpose brings restoration (Jer.33:6-14)
Going Back is not an Alternative
Pharaoh said, “They are entangled in the wilderness.”(Ex14:3) Entangled means “involved”. It would appear that, in the present, they were so worried about rocks, brush and varmints that they forgot about the freedom on the other side of wilderness. “Coming out” may look different and require different decisions and actions than we originally predicted. But going back is not an alternative.
Get an Adjective Change
What adjective do people put in front of your name? After heaven invaded JerichoRoad, they could no longer call Bartimaeus “blind” because Bartimaeus pushed beyond what was normally acceptable & defied religious limitations & barriers. Heaven is invading your road. Cry out! Get an adjective change. ”When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus from Nazareth was near, he began to shout out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” (Mk.10:47, TLB)
Above All we Think
All things are possible with God. The sticky part about that is, we believe the things that are possible are the things we can conceive. But ALL things are possible with God whether they are those we can imagine or those beyond our realm of knowledge and experience. Eph.3:20 “above all we ask or think”
Subtle Things Changing Things
Subtle things in the Bible that no one noticed until they were put in place and 
activated by the timing and purpose of Yahweh: (1) One Hebrew in Pharaoh’s prison (Joseph); (2) 300 men on a hillside outside a Midianite camp (Gideon); (3) 14 yr. old with a slingshot (David); (4) A baby born in an obscure stable (Jesus); (5) 12 nonsdescript men sitting at the feet of Jesus (ragtag, imperfect group of disciples); (6) A little boy’s lunch (feeding of 5,000); (7) 120 people having a prayer meeting in an upper room (believer-empowering, city-rocking move of Holy Spirit). Result: History Changed! Conclusion: Don’t give up!
