What A Way To Begin An Announcement
Wow, what a way to begin an announcement, “Hey, guys, I have something very important to say here but first I must ask you to not be troubled of heart.” Jesus addresses His disciples at a momentous time, on a very important occasion to communicate
to them the launching of a new era that was immediately upon them and in which they would take the lead. DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me. (Jn.14:1, Amp) Jesus announces His going and their total dependency upon Holy Spirit to do what He has been doing while with them.
