Maturing Beyond A Defensive Posture

One major change we see coming to the Body of Christ is maturing beyond a defensive posture.  Whether they see themselves as victims or not, too many believers function from mainly a defensive posture.  I know the word “offense” is offensive in church circles, but I’m using it like a football term with offensive and defensive players.  Defense is focused on blocking the enemy’s success.  Offense is pushing toward a goal rather than defending one.  The Kingdom of God in action changes us to sons who make offensive moves to take ground in our own lives and in our sphere of responsibility.  We have to learn to think and plan offensively.
