Poison Or Fruit?

How often have you heard something like, “You’re gonna have a heart attack working hard like that!”  What about, “That’s gonna make you gain 10 lbs.!” Or even, “You’re as dumb as a rock!” Pro 18:21  Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].(Amp) The Message is interesting here: Pro 18:21“Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit–you choose.” It is just as easy to use that power to say, “You’re not going to have a heart attack; you are not dumb!” Our words are either poison or fruit. We get to choose which.
